Very bad in Redmond from 6 pm on last night. Went out just 10 min. from home for one hour, trying to get home was really scary, downed power lines, street closures, tree debris hitting cars, trres down. Our power is out blackout West Lake Sammamish Pkwy. Our building was litterally shaking in the wind.

Excellent reporting. First observation. Let's send reporters out in strong windy storms in black vests and jeans with a dark hat when full bright yellow rain gear is the minimum people should be sent outside at night when the power might go out. The massive profit media can't even keep their outdoor employees safe. Again this was a great report. RIP to the woman hit by the tree.

We have had these storms before. I used to work in Downtown Seattle in the 1980's. We would bring our umbrella's to defend ourselves on the way to work, only to have the wind blow them inside out. The wind was so strong it knocked us off of our feet.
