Her lyrics going from being on your side in the other version to being against you while hypnotized is clever, Rather than needed their love they need their help and Callie slowly breaking out of the hypnosis for the finale was amazing! The lyrics being similar to her original one while fitting the theme of the hypno-fight was well done, glad this fight got it's own video because I really preferred this song's rapid beat that matched the fight's attacks.

1:15 I saw someone had a theory that the level complete riff is Octavio's way of kicking Callie back in line while she's singing, and every time Bomb Rush Blush got too close to the original, the riff would play. The lyrics really fit with that theory, because the riff interrupts her when she tries to say she needs Marie. Forgot to mention, a rewind sound plays right after, like Octavio's saying "Whoops, got a bit too close there... It's rewind time!"

Most Splatoon boss songs are like a 'Hype me up' type of song like Calamari Inkantation, Fly Octo Fly or Ebb and Flow. But this one hits different. This is why I want Splatoon to have it's own Movie because of the sheer emotion you can feel with some of these songs.

Hittin' me right in the nostalgia. Edit: Right at 2:42, Marie says, "I don't need you lying to me" but I'm taking that in a new way. I think Marie would tell her, after that line, that she's already beautiful as herself. In some versions with English lyrics, Marie then says, "maybe you and I, you and I, you and I will fade" or, "baby you are not, you are not, you are not this way...". The second one could support my theory? Also, at 3:39, Callie needs hope. She sounds so sad, and she needs someone to tell her a brighter future is ahead.
