Wasn't Ice-T doing rap and Breakin' movies before Compton was put on the map by Eazy-E and NWA? Was Alonzo instrumental in Toddy Tee? What about the first record out of the west, "Gigolo Rap'? Alonzo was doing techno R&B slow jams. NOT RAP/HIP-HOP!! His contribution was giving Eazy-E his connect with Jerry Heller and letting them guys use his studio at times when Rap was pushing his type of music to the wayside. Godfather of Westcoast Hip-Hop?
