I’m in my fifties now and I can still remember seeing The DOC’s first video It’s Funky Enough and saying to my brother who the f is this dude? Being from New York City we were like whoever this dude is, he’s about to be a rap superstar! To this day I feel he is hip hop’s greatest tragedy of what could have been!
