so graceful, a good friend is a Captain on the 7500 and goes to some really cool places all over the world! I am sure he has even flown to Perth.

It seemed like that pilot was in a hurry to burn up a lot of fuel, too.

Not a problem this pilot looks like he could do an aerial refueling from those skills, that thrust back left turn was classic

Left thrust reverse used on a left turn, never seen that before. 👍

For whatever reason that left TR was deployed the whole way down the taxiway. He closed it as he started the turn. Odd.

@@LostButMakingGoodTimenow you mention it, I noticed TR after looking at vid’ for second time. Pilot has his reasons I guess.

When a Global is light at idle power you have to ride the brakes so deploying a TR during taxi keeps the brakes from overheating. This is a normal procedure.

This type actually did mach1 in its experimental tests.

More than half of this video is of this plane taxiing and it certainly wasn’t an exceptionally fast takeoff.

From brakes off to wheels off the ground took ~25s. In 1974 an Aer Lingus 747-200 took just 15s at SNN->DUB (I timed it). The same plane took 45s to get airborne at JFK a few hours earlier.

I had a premonition that he'd scoop the left TR in that turn to line up and he did! Freaked me out. The last aerospace premonition I had was on January 28, 1986. Scared me and made me feel guilty for 30 years. God bless the crew of STS 51L.
