Basically, I throw a bomb, roll a 1, fail a reroll, and blow my bomber up.

Every single time that's why I never like using them. But when my opponent has a bombardier they always roll a 6 and get 4 of my players down.

Would Safe Pass work with the bomb action, or it wouldn’t work because it isn’t a pass action?

The most recent FAQ clarified that Safe Pass keeps the bomb from exploding and just ends your action.

Stunty gives a -1 to passing, is this already included in the PA 4+ or do you need to apply it to the roll?

That’s in the old rules bud, since the newly released blood bowl everything is incorporated into their passing ability

May 2021 FAQ! It changed the wording to “placed prone” instead of “knocked down” 😁 Knocked Down player in your turn = turnover, but placed prone is only a TO if they have the ball!

Bombers? They can get back up. Ball & Chain players are out if they go prone.

What happens if a player without a passing stat catches the ball and it doesn't explode?

If the player doesn’t have a passing stat it will auto explode. It’s in the FAQs 😀

wait… so the player won’t get spp for any eliminations they cause now correct? You only get spp for eliminations cause by knock downs… bombs place prone now… Seems like it’s pretty impossible to advance your bombediers now? edit: was covered right at the end… kind of a shame for more leagues, but i guess the risk reduction is worth it.

Isn't a problem with taking accurate AND cannoneer that you're paying 80k for skills on a 45k piece, when +1 PA is only +20k and equivalent to having both?

The skills reduce the chance of Wildly Inaccurate, but +1PA doesn't.

It's a little sad that you can't build a Fumblerooskie bomber. I mean it would have been so much fun watching the fungus flingers run up to a cage and blow them self up. Hopefully taking everyone with them ^^

Throw them to guys with no hands... Death rollers, wraiths, etc. They can't catch it and it blows up! Another poster mentioned this, but the black gobbo is amazing... 3+, disturbing presence within 3 squares (making it harder to catch), and he's not a secret weapon. Ridiculous!
