I mean the only console Star Wars games in the past 10 years are the Jedi series (great), Squadrons (decent/good), and the Battlefronts, so this is a bit unfair of a take when it's just 5 games, 3 of which were positives. Also as for Ubisoft, it's not them making the game it's Massive. Ubi is just the producer. Yes, a lot of AAA games have been underwhelming but there have been a lot of great ones as well. The real issue in AAA gaming outside of big series titles (which are lazy and bad) is the cost of games, which is not exclusive to this game.

EA may have the most extreme and blatant single microtransaction fiasco (BF2), but Ubisoft has the worst track record for consistently killing games with them. I have little faith in this sadly, and if I ever get the game, it will be 6 months minimum after release. I need to see how everything plays out.

I'm making a bold prediction, and I'll come back in September when I've played the story to see if I'm right... The heist they're selling as the main plot is only part of the story. I believe there's a giant chunk of plot they're keeping under wraps.

@@MaxRamos8 Star citizen lets you go flying from planets to space, you can even climb out of the spaceship and jump off of it and fall into the planet from space (there's a video on youtube of people using vehicles as drop pods and surviving the fall). honestly I would play star citizen but im waiting for them to implement server meshing because then the game will actually be in a really good state

As a character like this an if it involves stealth missions an that is there any chance to get an ability like if you are stealth mode an knock out a stormtrooper not killing them but knocking them out an being able to steal his uniform and you can disguise your self as the enemy an possibly if you knock them out and steal there outfit you can keep it. Just an idea which would be awesome 🤩

Hey Andrew, you should play Jedi Kight: Jedi Academy. It's a really good underrated game. It has customization, and you can chop Imperials lims off. It may not have an open world like modern games, but it's still one of my top three favorite star wars games of all time.

If you were a Jedi, that would be plausible. But you're really just a smuggler with a gun, which is why I hope the Empire will be an actual threat. A squad of Stormtroopers should already be a valid threat, at least early on, while Death Troopers should basically be like bosses. But seeing how easily that one Death Trooper got taken out, I don't have high hopes.

The combat in the official videos we've seen look too easy, it just seems difficult because the developer behind the controller was a bad shot/aimer and I think he was trying to make everything look too cinematic. Realistically, good players would have made light work of the stormtroopers in the hangar as well as Jaba's goons outside of Mos Eisley in the 10 minute gameplay video.

@@viperson9818 yea but what i mean is, difficulty in most games does not mean smarter AI. No matter what, games made by Ubisoft will always be easy for many players with good aim and game sense. Thats why sometimes the missions become boring. They need to balance that out by making amazing storytelling and writing and character dialogues and emotional storylines but Ubisoft is terrible at writing good stories. imagine if Rockstar made an open world Star Wars game... that would be so fun and the story would be 11/10

This game does look pretty neat, but I’m still holding out for the day we get a Skyrim-like Star Wars RPG. Set it during the Galactic Civil War. Have a planet system similar to the LEGO Skywalker Saga. Maybe have an option to be a surviving Jedi, but definitely have the ability to customize a character and have an Imperial and Rebel storyline similar to Skyrim.

My only criticism of Kay’s design is that they didn’t use the likeness of her voice actor (as far as I can tell). Cameron got to be the face of Kal, meaning if he ever makes a live action appearance we already know who will play him. Kay is probably less likely to make a live action appearance but they had a great live action actress right there in front of them who looks like what they envisioned for the character. Seems like a no brainer not to just use her face too along with her voice. (Humberly could still play Kay in live action as they look similar enough but still seems like a missed opportunity).
