I think a main reason why I enjoyed the Battlefront 2 story mode was because I started playing it a couple years after it came out, so I didn’t follow the marketing, and thus didn’t have any expectations going in.

Blaster Stance allows you to stunlock the shit out of most enemies, because you can hit them with a charged shot, break guard, step in and land a few quick hits, then immediately back out and repeat the process. Most enemies, including most bosses, can be whittled down fairly easily.

The OG series deleted scenes add context and make the movies even more compelling. The prequel deleted scenes just reinforce the fact that the prequels are hands down the worst movies I have ever seen.

To be honest, I really enjoyed the story campaign and even replayed it multiple times. Because I didn't have any expectations and avoided spoilers, I didn't even know that this was supposed to be a story about the empire perspective, so I wasn't disappointed when Iden turned. Yes, such a story could have been great too, but it doesn't take away from my enjoyment of what we got. I understand the disappointment for those who expected something different though. Seeing the empire fall after Endor was something that we only got to experience through the aftermath novels before, so I loved experiencing this through a more visual medium and I was amazed by all the details they thought of. Just listen to the NPCs talk...

Jedi Knight games are still the best Jedi combat games

Double blade and cross guard are better for defense Double blade is the fastest, and the cross guard in the slowest but yes they are fantastic together

For the droid mechanics that happens when you have poor and inexperienced leadership. They see a cool mechanic but have never worked or have experience to know the actual demands and time requirement that puts on the developers, so they end up doing the first bit before realizing they simply don't have the time/manpower. Happens in a lot of industries, once you understand how they work you see all kinds of stuff like that in modern games, it's quite a mess and many are poorly led.

The "Padme Pilot" character drawing her blaster while spinning is actually NOT specific to her. Zam Wesell does the same spinning blaster draw move.

Yeah, I only ever remember playing sequel maps in this game. I personally prefer original trilogy and it would suck when it was mostly prequel that I played in. Sequel maps... never heard of them. I think throughout all of my time playing this game I only ever played on them 4 times.

Even though I'm not a Star Wars fan, I still remember this game. The rendering of this game is much higher than that of Outlaws. Although it's not made by the same studio, EA did try to replicate the characteristics of what Star Wars should have.

I always felt that Lucas half-assed RotS a bit and that's been essentially proven. It could and kind of should have been better. Some of these deleted scenes are no good, but the action sequences have a lot of potential and would have been very welcome additions. RotS came out around the time of 'The Matrix' sequels and LotR; the standard for genre, action epics was higher.

I honestly think the only reason there is no bf3 is because EA cant monetize it greedily which is stupid as some tripple a games are now costing upwards of 100 dollars. Such greed

Fun fact: The PS5 Pro has 16 teraflops of GPU power, while the Xbox Series X has 12 teraflops of GPU power, which is more than the 10 teraflops of the PS5. Yet, for some reason, games look exactly the same on the PS5 and Series X. It’s almost as if these comparatively smaller differences in GPU power don’t make a difference anymore.

I think the reason space missions are boring is that there’s not the fastness like you see in the movies and shows, they should definitely get project aces to make a ace combat type Star Wars game which could make space missions more fun
