The way Ninth Sister entered at 12:08 with using her blade as a lightsaber directly comes from the season 2 finale of Star Wars Rebels. The Inquisitors also moved like this across Malachor, searching for Maul and later Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus and Ahsoka Tano when they entered. The Eight Brother even bit the dust when he used the same trick but it turned out Kanan damaged his lightsaber. The saber exploded and Eight Brother felt to his death...

the takedown at 5:15 is so awesome, the way he just lets the lightsaber slide through the trooper at the end. no big swing, not like a sword or baseball bat, just lets it smoothly travel because it’s a freaking lightsaber and it doesn’t need speed to kill someone. lightsabers are finally powerful again!!

SPOILER ALERT: I just thought about it, Cal saying “it’s time to set you free” and killing Masana (The Ninth Sister) was ultimately more of a mercy killing than anything because if he had spared her, she would have been killed by Vader in a much more excruciating way for failing to kill Cal and coming back empty handed. So if anything she should be glad she didn’t die by Vaders hands and instead did by Cals.

Those guys at the beginning are Coruscant nat-born police. Imagine a somehow more Gestapo like version of the CG from Clone Wars but they're all either living beings (because lore wise clones are property) or droids as you go further down.
