Bombay Biryani | Special Biryani for weekend | Easy and Delicious | Step by Step
Ingredients:
Chicken 800 -900 grams
Rice 750 grams or 3 cups
Potatoes 🥔 1-2
Tomatoes 2-3
Onion 3 slices and brown
Bombay biryani masala 1 packet
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
1/2 tsp chili powder
Turmeric little
Crush chili flex 1/2 tsp
Garam masala 1/2 tsp
Lemon wedges
Green chilies
Fresh mint and coriander
Food coloring
Kewra water ( optional)
Milk half cup
You hurt 2 tbs
Oil and ghee
Recipe:
Step :
Marinate chicken by adding all masala, ginger garlic paste dry spices , potatoes, tomatoes, brown onions, mint coriander chilies.
Step2: in a pot add oil add chicken and potatoes mixture, follow video, once cooked for 15-20 minutes add water and cook for 10 minutes.
Step 3: boil water in a big pot by adding whole garam masala, lemon wedges, green chilies, mint coriander, once boiling add rice, cook rice slightly undercooked.
Step 4 Strain rice keep it aside.
Step 5: in a pot add ghee a bit add rice ( follow video), little bit brown onion, tomato, mint coriander, add chicken gravy whole, add another rice layer, on top add brown onion , milk food coloring, mint coriander, Kewra water .
Step 6: cover and cook on high flame for 4-5 minuts then on low flame for 15-20 minutes.
Switch off fire let it rest for 5 minutes serve with raita, lasi popadum, salad .
