My Dad Cliff Hall was a navigator in the Lancaster Bombers, He is now 96 and I am so proud of the sacrifice he gave and lives with to this day. Lest we forget

Thank You so very much. It was a wonderful tribute to all who served in Bomber Command and to my father, Cyril Bayford, of 57 Squadron, He died when his Lancaster DX-H (LL939) crashed at Beckdorf, Germany on the night of November 11th 1944. We remember him and all the members who served in Bomber command, especially those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. We thank you all, WE WILL NEVER FORGET

Remembering my Dad Jack Forrest who sadly died on 6/6/2012, 3 weeks before the Memorial was unveiled. 5 of his crew were killed on 6/6/1944 flying PG-C LL783 over France to support the D Day landings. Kim Roberts, Jack Lott, Leslie Williams. John Tucker and Guy Wyand. My Dad and Reg Deville survived. Also remembering Gil King and Lionel Virgo.
