I remember to it like it was yesterday... The Crew of the proud Bomber "7d98" came back from one of 1000s missions. It was a hard mission, but they landed safely. Just a few hours later, the started for a bombering on 3 Ammofactories. They did it 100 times, but this time, everything gone wrong and in a big cloud, followed by 3 Bf-109s. After a loud noice, 2 big fragments fell out of the cloud. Noone survived the explosion of the last 3 Bombs. After the win against the Führerbunker, they died in an easy mission. They died for everything, but they died by nothing. Sorry my English is bad, but thats a true story! The Bf-109 destroyed me with some lucky shots.

This is why bomber crew is so cool,the sad moment when everyone dies is so well done,I have been struggling with a mission in the USA Air Force dlc,the last mission,and I can’t finish it because everyone always dies,but I want to keep everyone alive :(

When you realised your crew is dead, except pilot and your tail gunner... But tail gunner is dying... You can risk to help him, or die by enemy fighters.

When i first lost a bomber, only the radio operator and engineer were alive. Rest of the crew? Frickin' dead because the fuel ended near the land belt.

That music played when half of my crew died and bomber's tail was about cut off, + Fuel tanks were leaking and only last engine remained and I was over the map. And when that music played, were more scary to lost in there without navigation.

The story of Aces high one of the best damn bombers I worked with : Aces high was a b17 sent to fight in Italy along side many others . Aces high served in many operations including operation Cingo convoy and operation avalanche. Eventually it was tasked to server in operation husky the allied invasion of Sicily , the crew loaded in and took off to launch Disney rockets on the command bunker and protect allied landing craft from enemy planes and after some time it completed both task but unexpected the graf zeppelin appeared brand new after its repairs , with one last Disney rocket Aces high sank the graf zeppelin but during the fire fight and the flak one of the landing gear was knocked off and no one noticed until it was to late , the crew noticed this just a minute to late and as it was making a landing to , Aces high slammed into the ground in a fireball as the ground crew and pilots that worked with the aces high no less than a few minutes ago watched in horror as it’s wreckage slide across the runway . Miraculous by the grace of god the crew managed to pull two survivors, the radio operator carol west and the tail gunner Jessie owens ,carol west survived as she was in the more intact part of the wreckage also the more armored part , she said the last thing she heard was the pilots voice echoing throughout the plane to brace for impact. And Jessie managed to survive in tail section as it broke off from the wreckage , both went on to serve with other bombers , carol west was eventually killed in the line of duty after she was hit by and enemy strafe on the b17 bomber dare devil and Jessie owens survived to the end of the war working with the famous Memphis belle . In the end Jessie owens was the only survivor of the b17 bomber Aces high . Rest In Peace aces high you will be missed

Losses. Massive reinvestments. Countless purchases. Countless new recruits. Countless save files rage quit. (Yes I deleted one in rage) I've lost so damn much. Yet, I still push forward. I now have a (almost) maxed out Lancaster. I'm unstoppable now.

I came back to base after bombing after bombing the bunker with all of my crew...except one guy he was the tail gunner.he got killed by a rocket.
