for stickers i would use the paint markers but for hitting insides the train use the ink for staining

Grog is a little bit hit or miss brand. Some stuff do the job flawless while other is a let down. Good job on the test! :)

My buff proof ink blue comes right off. I was disappointed in my experience with it. Grog also does street killer, which I found to be more lethal than bpi

@@teetoo_3090 indeed it is. Some of the most lethaL ink out there. I used to mix it with Witches Brew from Colorado years ago also and it would make it stain even harder. AP and BS don’t carry it anymore though so I just use straight street killer.

As a surprise plot twist buff proof appears to be mostly a marketing gimmick. On a good day you'll defeat a school janitor or a minimum wage worker at McDonalds. Anything resembling a professional cleaning service you can forget. We lost that arms race bout 30 years ago.

not true about losing some arms race, trust me, shits very doable (you just might not have too many options pre-packaged and sold online for you), however mind that buff proof isnt some A class stainer. Buff proof is a v proper ink though, in the right setting. Few brands managed to make a well pigmented ink that still has the viscosity to flow through a pump-style nib without streaking out, the stainer they added to it is more of a bonus than anything. Upside of this quality is that a) the pump style marker can stretch less ink out into many more hits (vs a mop), and b) since its pigmented and has a quality bonding agent, your hits can potentially survive outdoors for near a decade (give or take). You just gotta place them right and avoid abrasion and human reach/contact. Pigmented inks are where its at, save the indoor hits for alc stainers w dot 3 famin

OR, just hit porous ass shit where the ink can fully seep in and through the surface (i.e. fabrics, fresh buff paint). in that case your buff proof will be genuine to the mark.

@@Strobeez Mostly talking about the popular brands from US and EU. Russia and Japan have more leeway in adding cancerous toxins and all that fun stuff. Even that will be cleaned though. Ever seen a buff test where they pull out the sandblaster. Or use something that isn't the cheapest and least opaque bucket paint. Also top of the line cleaning chemicals get rarely used. I have decade old Posca tags still around. Posca loses to water and friction. The way you beat the buff is by buff man not caring.

There's also the part where being "buff proof" isn't even a thing with cans. Somehow it matters with only half our tools. It's more a superstition/tradition with markers.

i have a grog squeezer 05 APP for this video, but the tags can be deleted very very easy on plastic and all surfaces, i dont understand why in this video the app ink looks really hard on plastic, its not true.

@@kzr_1613 mtn street dabbers are fine, you need to shake them well and apply pressure to get the right amount of paint, me personally they're brilliant, but they arent very buff resistant. Best to do them as hard to tag places.

If you want good quality, nice looking paint, then you should go for the grog full metal line or just anything from the brand krink. Krink stuff is usually really expensive tho

I only use high staining inks so my tags are buff proof. It’ll fade in the sun but it will still be highly visible
