Although i agree with you, jets are a lot harder to train and takes much longer. Right now they need tanks, while Ukrainians must learn western jets. And give them the jets when they are ready for it.

Last I heard, the Ukrainians were still holding the most westerly salt mine and also the railway station north of Soledar. Both of these structures are part of the City, so Russia can't rightfully claim that it's been taken yet. Those two positions also work to bring any Russian forces moving west from the centre of the city under crossfire, which is causing the Russians a lot of problems, particularly since Gerasimov ordered Wagner forces out of Soledar and sent in his own airborne troops who have no idea of the situation or geography. All of this plays into the Ukrainians' hands. Let's hope the Ukrainians keep up their morale and pressure. The Russians are losing large numbers of troops for small areas of land. They can't keep doing this forever.
