One critical element is missing here. Bombing WITHOUT a sight in RB and SB. Particularly important in ground forces RB.

ThePvtHudson Test flight, use virtual cockpit for 45 degree plus get about 100-200m off the ground and drop approx one bar below your angle. If in a shallow dive I approximate again within 100-200m of the ground (use a time delay of .5-1 second don't have too will require a bit of practise and prediction) and release just before your nose covers the target. For better guides search KZbin plenty of videos, you eventually get a feel for it. Lastly bigger bombs better but require longer delay to save yourself, and more centralized bombs are more accurate.

250 lb bombs can sink Destroyers and a good hit will get a Light cruiser. 500 lb bombs sink up to a Heavy Cruiser (with a good hit) it takes around 4000 lbs for a Battleship or Carrier (I believe untested and rarely seen in game now anyways) All tanks can be destroyed with a direct hit from a 100lb bomb or a larger rocket Pillboxes can be destroyed by a 250 lb bomb (Light pillboxes seem to survive more, I have better luck with US 12.7 (ground belt). A near hit from a 500lb bomb will destroy any ground vehicle 12.7s (US Ground belt) can destroy up a medium tank(from behind)or up to Light Pillboxes (Use tracers to walk the shots into 'Hit' shots) This all applies to AI vehicles only, Human tanks (Ground forces matches) are resistant to plane rounds and require larger bombs and rockets (wouldn't use less than 500lbs unless early tier) In all cases larger bombs a generally better higher chance of a killing Hit and possible multikill.I found it more effective to drop a 1000lb bomb on a group of tanks than to drop multiple smaller bombs on the same group got more kills from the single drop with the larger bomb. In Arcade ordinance leave the wing Left, Than right alternating with each one. Bomb bays vary depending on the plane so you have to get to know the plane to find out which bombs drop first (When carrying mixed payloads). Realistic as mentioned fire (drop) 2 at a time from wings. (individually from Bomb Bays) Gun Convergence affects rockets as well. To further increase accuracy upgrade Weapon maintenance in the Crew tab.

Paladin Demo Good news, the game is cross platform so hope some PC players use bombers or use them yourself. Personally, I use a fighters to bomb then switch to defending either far bases, or low flying friendly bombers.

My favorite tactic? P-47D-25, full payload, attack enemy bomb target/base with my rockets (from very close, mind you), then drop so close to the ground a 2 story building would kill me and drop the bombs right on top of it. Kills the base everytime.

I'd be nice if they did one for jet planes. They don't have the bomber sight and in RB, when you're at 50% thrust and still going 400+ MPH, pretty hard time your drop and not see your bomb land several yards well ahead of your target.

What’s the use taking away my bombing reticle in RB. Guess I’ll load up all my 3x250lbs and gently release all bombs button and not pull up but actually squish em with my tiny attack plane. 😑 oh I was supposed to helping my team.
