its easy. its called an aerial revert. stick down and full rudder, then pull up and full counterrudder with full flaps and brakes along with around 12% throttle. works on only a few aircraft

Your "barrel roll" is an "aileron roll" your "canopy roll" is a "barrel roll" your "split" is a "split S" Evasive manoeuvres are mostly useless in arcade Using keys to control your pitch, yaw, roll is highly impractical since the game tries to put your plane at horizontal all the time, but they offer more strenght when used with the mouse aim. Oh, and just don't head-on, as much as possible. It's bad and risky, even if you shoot down the enemy, there's a risk that you collide with its wreckage. The only planes against which you should head-on are some bombers (obviously, not the B-25), because that's where their defense is weaker.

Paehrin Your correction of the maneuvers are right, i can't believe Gaijin mixed this up like Star fox... However the maneuvers shown in this video does help, there not useless, and into very skilled pilot a best strategy.

I said mostly because indeed, they can help, but a beginner won't be able to use them effectivly. In arcade, flight model make it very easy to follow manoeuvres - BnZ for exemple is kinda hard, because some planes can just follow you on your zoom, even if you gathered some speed in the dive. For the same reason, it's really easy to aim where you want in arcade, so maoeuvres like a barrel roll won't save you that often. Once again, it can, a few times, but they really start to begin usefull in RB, where aircrafts have very distinct performance.

I would advice against it tbh. It sure has a pretty good firepower, but it also has a very big canopy, which means it's extremely easy to shoot the pilot down :/

I don't use ctrl and shift for elevation, I use W and S. Ctrl and Shift are my throttle... It's the advanced control setup that is programmed into War Thunder, and in combination with the mouse, it works well. Or, if you play sim, use a joystick...

Aileron roll is just using ailerons. Barrel roll is also pitching up as you roll. In war thunder, to preform a SNAP roll, you need to roll and yaw in the same direction, as well as pitching up. It's basically a very fast barrel roll that is actually very unstable..

Leon Riley If you have more than one plane on your tail, you're probably too far into enemy lines, or you rushed into a group of them. My suggestion as it does happen, though, is you should try to get to your allies without being shot down. Never engage more than one enemy alone unless you're 100% sure you can kill all of them.
