What was released implicated trump in crimes. Mueller was quite clear in the report that there were grounds for indicting trump for obstruction but that he didn’t have the power to do it. He also showed all the people around trump doing shady work with and for the Russians, and said that because trump wouldn’t answer many questions and wasn’t candid in the answers he did provide, he couldn’t show conspiracy but also didn’t exonerate trump.

You don't think it was covered by the news? I watched the whole thing live on January 6th. There is no way that everything that was going on that day could possibly be shown during a 30 minute or even an hour long news report. I missed the very beginning, yet still spent hours watching, & couldn't turn away without missing important coverage. If there was one segment that every American should see, it would be Trump, at the President's podium, speaking to a huge group of insurrectionists that were packed inside a giant tent, & telling them to "fight like Hell, or you won't have a country anymore!" It was the most frightening thing I had ever seen! I honestly expected that Trump would attempt to declare himself "King of the USA", that day, & to see a large number of our Senators & Congressmen & women, as well as Capitol Police, shot & killed right before my eyes. I thought surely, that our democracy would no longer exist, after January 06, 2021, & that the President would be the one to kill it. The President DID try to unilaterally change our system of government that day. It is the responsibility of every voter to make sure that nothing like this ever happens again. I'm certain that a vote for Trump in 2024, would be a vote to take away all of our voices, except Trump's.
@pjaylett3 жыл бұрын
@@kimwhitmore7505 My comment refers to the issue Seth raised in this segment where Fox repeatedly pushes the false narrative that the election was stolen and subsequent demand that action must be taken must be taken because 83% of Republican voters believe the election was stolen. I’ve seen plenty of networks report on Trumps ‘big lie’ but I’ve not seen any of the other news networks highlight or focus on how Fox bears perhaps an even bigger responsibility for attempting to destabilize democracy. Since he was banned from several large social media networks, Fox has an even bigger share of the blame, they are pushing outright lies daily that are seriously damaging the fabric of the nation, this is issue I was referring to, not the insurrection itself. Sorry I didn’t make my point more specific.
