I think most of the ones we hear about are retired members of the military acting as civilians. Ones that were active duty military or police mostly face internal discipline, mostly consisting of being dishonorably discharged from service, which wipes out retirement and other benefits. Then they face the same level of scrutiny as the other rioters. This is for the people who actively engaged on Jan 6. The ones who acted more clandestinely behind the scenes, well we will see what happens.
