I cannot express how grateful I am with Justin Vernon, and of course, with Bon Iver. The music they transmit is so human and transcendant, which makes me feel wounded, but at the same time healed. I've listening to him since "For Emma, Forever Ago" (Hands down, top 5 favourite album of all time) and man...their music is so much needed right now. welcome to the loving family :) ive been a fan since all the way back to 2007 so its been 12 years! i was a young teenager and as i grew i grew up with this music and the music grew up with me. no time is short or long enough for this beauty and as i grew out of many many MANY musicians and albums, its safe to say i am never growing out of bon iver, its just not possible. you can clearly also feel the beautiful energy and for that it doesnt matter if youre a fan for a decade or a day. :) i hope we both have many beautiful and peaceful years ahead with this beautiful music.

I grew up on a farm on a gravel road in South Dakota. Mood wasn't set by the people around you, as it has become now living in Minneapolis, but instead, it was set by mother nature. Amongst all of that, I always felt an affinity towards Autumn. The days shorten slowly at first, and then night starts to cascade upon you more quickly as the autumn matures into the beginning of winter, bringing the immense, omnipotent soaring Milky Way in full display . The feeling of having completed the most labor intensive part of the year is both satisfying and relieving, and you are able to enjoy the fruits of your labor at last. The crisp chill that brings the sweetness to the apples touches your red and raw sunburned arms and cools them and fills your lungs with the natural beauty around you while you sleep at night with the windows open. On this 50th anniversary of Apollo, I am thankful for the stabilizing force of the our celestial companion, keeping the earth's tilt at 23.5, and bringing the beauty of the changing seasons with it.
