I can feel the words here. I walked around my childhood wood two years ago and the memes blindsided me. Can't say I wish to walk there again, just too many ghosts of the past, and of those that have left us too soon.

It's just me or the line "my feet melt the snow" is the most beautiful line in the whole song?
@epochphilosophy6 жыл бұрын
The solo that starts at 3:12 is really one of the most underrated pieces of guitar I've ever heard. Almost never do you hear a solo that is completely melodic, and useful for building any emotional tension. Such a beautiful piece of guitar work.
@nicbongo3 жыл бұрын
They rely on it 100%. In their lives performances they involve the audience in the music making too. Truly cathartic to scream or sing your guts out whilst they provide the space and encourage your participation. This band is a great example of why I value emotive artists over technical ones. Just breath taking.
@kangugikaranja3385 Жыл бұрын
This is when “the band” hit their groove. Much like Kevin of tame impala, Justin can mastermind a piece or performance. But these performances where he gets lost in the music and sound he’s built with others help is utterly beautiful.

Back down, down to the downtown Down to the lock down, boards, nails lie around I crouch like a crow Contrasting the snow For the agony, I'd rather know Cause blinded I am blindsided Peek in, into the peer in I'm not really like this, I'm probably plightless I cup the window I'm crippled and slow For the agony I'd rather know Cause blinded I am blindsided Would you really rush out for me now? Taught line, down to the shoreline The end of a blood line, the moon is a cold light There's a pull to the flow My feet melt the snow For the irony, I'd rather know Cause blinded I was blindsided
