I bought a CD "Bon Iver" when i was 17. A girl, tender age, lots of mistakes, feelings... When i hear this song, i started to cry alone. So hard. And i will never forget this moment in my life. Now i'm already past 20, still is a special song to me. Like a healing, like it's talking to me and trying to pull my feelings.

Bon Iver makes you understand true music, its not the autotune or electro-rap or crazy flashy stuff you hear today, its this. This is music, this is the music that makes you stop and think about life, its the music that makes you want to sit and cuddle with someone, but also to get up and go for a bike ride. its the music that makes you smile but also cry. This is the music that inspires people to be musicians. Thank you Bon Iver and whoever posted this for inspiring the believers in true music.

I was unafraid, I was a boy, I was a tender age Melic in the naked, knew a lake and drew the lofts for the page Hurdle all the waitings up, know it wasn't wedded love Four long minutes in and it was over it'd all be back And the frost took up the eyes Pressed against the pane could see the veins and there was poison out Resting in a raze the inner claims I hadn't breadth to shake Searching for an inner clout, may not take another bout Honey in the hale could fill the pales of loving less with vain Honey, it wasn't yet the spring Aiming and it sunk and we were drunk and we had fleshed it out Nose up in the globes, you never know if you are passing out No it wasn't maiden-up, the falling or the faded luck Hung up in the ivory, both were climbing for a finer cause Love can hardly leave the room With your heart

I've seen a pattern of who really listens to Bon Iver and enjoys it. We tend to over think things a lot like life or mistakes we've made. All the people I know who listen seem to be like that. We also love nature see things through it and most of all respect it. I love everything about Bon Iver's videos is that there's no people it's woods it makes me want to go there and sit there. In this video with the man and I thing garbage bags with lights inside of them that whips them around is deep.

We often try to frame our self's as thinking beings but that is not the whole truth. We are emotional every bit as much as we are thinking. Music has a way of communicating with our core emotional being in a way that the thinking self cant fully understand. Beautiful sounds, complex feelings = Bon Iver.

I'm not the only one who appreciates this song so much. But when I listen to his music... I'm different. It changes me. I cry nearly every time. Not because I'm sad. Not because I'm happy. Not because this song is so beautiful. Why? It makes me realize just how beautiful everything is. It puts life into a greater view. It makes me just stop. And think.
