I have an expanded amount of respect for Jon, he’s the first Rock Star to honestly address the issue of his voice. No making excuses, admitted that he was sounding terrible and has done all he can and is leaving the outcome up to God and nature. I have a feeling that karma and luck will be on his side.

Very well said I feel the same way, at 61 years old having grown up with Bon Jovi I have spent the last week reading everything that has been on the Internet for the past couple of months or so he is truly an amazing man very giving and he has a wonderful wife and kids to have stayed together for so many years. Fantastic to get true fans submitting deep cuts to run by the band and get more info and insight into the making of them! Loved it, and I'm very happy to hear Jon confirm it's now just a matter of time until the next tour! I had a feeling that would be the case if he felt confident enough to play at the Musicares event. The way the 4th episode of the docuseries also kind of lead me to believe Jon felt like he was in a much much better place than in 2022.

My thoughts, yeah! I think it was necessary to get this thing out that Richie left because of his ego (I said it all these years!). And to admit that this hit him psychologically and caused his voice damage must have finally felt like a revelation.

I find that Tico and Dav have a very strong bond and affinity in common. John had it with Richie in a way. We feel a certain loneliness in him compared to the others.

Richie didn’t show up to recording sessions, Jon went ahead with Shanks who could play, neither communicated how and why they were feeling and it escalated. Shanks got hired to do a job and did it, he didn’t interfere in the conversations or make any decisions. It was all Jon and Richie.

I saw Richie talking about this and he said the only way it’s gonna happen is if he could sing the songs a lot of these bands end up lowering the keys, which is fine but he’s got some kind of plastic thing in his throat. Bon Jovi probably one of my favorite bands of all time they are the anthem of my life.
