@@theresalacey6126 I got the 1995 Maxi CD "Always" and when I heard it for the first time, it immediately entered my heart and from then until today this is my best and favorite song of all Bon Jovi songs. I have 2 more Demo versions, but this one is the best. This is my number 1 song, The Hardest Part Is The Night is my number 2 and so on. I was 11-12 years old when I heard it fot the first time. Since then I must hear it at least minimum one time in a month :D

Bon Jovi hasn't made many mistakes, but this was one of the few. Had this song been included on Slippery When Wet, and had it been released right after Living On A Prayer, it would've been their third straight #1. In fact, it might've been the best song on the entire album. Everyone swings and misses once in a while, I guess.

I would've put this in place of "Let it Rock" (the only Slippery song that's kinda bland to me, sounds more like a B-side) and maybe switched it with "Raise Your Hands" since that would've made a good hard rock opener. To me this would fit perfectly after Wanted Dead or Alive.

Ok if u dislike but I'm curious wat u think. Cool lyrics aged well plse I would really love ur opinion on it btw if I'm not mistaken both JBJ and Stevie Van Zandt dug them. Also if u like any ESB n Springsteen I mean via like 80/81 River Tour era their peak also SVZ produced Hanoi Rocks half band n Michael Monroe project called Demolition 23 Hammersmith Palais see wat u think of that jam. LC live from Dramarama Live at China Bowl audio only and Demolition 23 live in Tokyo Video those 2 songs from those 2 performances best version. Slippery should've been an 11 song album with this on it! Think it would've fit perfect after Wanted Dead or Alive

Wow, the introduction sounds like "Mystery" by Ronnie James Dio… The three chords and the keyboard riff. Ronnie's song came out in 1984, two years before the slippery when wet album came out. On Ronnie's 1985 album he kind of plagiarized a similar riff which sounds even more like The Who's song, Baba O'Riley.
