Couldn´t agree more! Although I would say, that they were still on that level in 2013, especially Jons voice. But from then on there was a significant drop, in 2014 things were already pretty bad.

The Munich concerts where always so amazing. I was 95 and 2000 in Nuremberg, missed 2001 completely and then I was with 1 exception on every Munich Concert, for the 1 exception I was only in Glasgow. After all those phantaastic performances, the last concert in Munich was a huge dissapointment, basically only the standard set list and that's it, nothing of the past glory in Munich 😞 I'm dreading the next concert, I don't even know if I want to go.

Christian I agree, but I remember back to before this when the comments were so negative about Jon losing his voice, etc. It pissed me off so much. They are putting their hearts and souls into every concert but for some people they couldn't accept that after years of hard work, they were still putting out epic concerts. Over the years, their concerts were still longer than anyone else's, and were there any other singers/bands putting on concerts over 2 hours long? Not really. I love Bon Jovi, and I appreciate that Jon has said many times that his voice is crap now, and I would agree, but the fact that he is still working, having fun singing, I appreciate them and the work they have done going on 40 years.
@Reel-Justice3 жыл бұрын
@@survivrs Rush put on 3 hour long concerts since ever. Springsteen 4 hours, but his song singing is easier than Jon's.
@survivrs3 жыл бұрын
@@Reel-Justice I didn't say they were the ONLY band to put on concerts that long, but when you compare to concerts these days, nobody wants to put that much effort into it. I love Bon Jovi and always will. For me Springsteen is like fingernails on a chalkboard.

Is there any reason why they gave the solo to any rhythm guitarist during In these arms? Mostly bobby, then matt o 'ree, and then john shanks? I supposed it happened after HAND tour until now. The song just lost most of its magic because of it imo
@juanjosebarrantes3 жыл бұрын
To me, this band lost its magic after the arrival of John Shanks in the HAND era. Also believe this guy has something to do with Richie's decision to suddenly quit the band.
@unclebozo98453 жыл бұрын
Richie injured his shoulder sometime during the HAND tour, so there was a period where he wasn't playing many solos at all ( @hAnD90 probably knows the details a lot better than I do), which is why Bobby/Matt/Shanks now plays the ITA solo. I think he may have played other solos during that period of the HAND tour as well since Richie couldn't go too crazy during that period. 2005/2006 was a really bad year for him. It also did seem like Jon slowly started replacing Richie with Shanks as his right-hand man shortly after the two met. I agree that Shanks is the worst thing to ever happen to the band, though it didn't become super apparent until WAN came out, since he only produced about 75% of the songs on HAND and less than half on Lost Highway, and his influence was hardly noticeable on The Circle.

Oder das Have a nice day Album 2005 Selbst 2016 This house is not for Sale hat was. Natürlich kann man die mit den 80ern und 90ern nicht vergleichen wobei auf der These days waren auch Lieder die in den letzten 15 Jahren auch auf den Alben Platz gefunden hätten....

Why is Jon's face not happy at the Dry County solo? Yeah, I know there are videos from Dry County when he's reacting angry on what the band is doing but in this case I don't think there's a reason to be not satisfied.. It's really on point and Richie is doing almost the exact same solo as the album version. I think this one's really great.
@tcconnection3 жыл бұрын
I don't get why there's another guitarist there. If Jon doesn't want to play rhythm anymore and he hired this guy for that okay, but all the solos should have gone to Richie (I would have left the band too).
