The catalog is 1/2 rock anthems (You Give Love a Bad Name, Lay Your Hands on Me, Bad Medicine, It's my Life, In & Out of Love, Wanted Dead or Alive) and 1/2 love songs (Born to be my Baby, Always, Bed of Roses, Never Say Goodbye, I'll Be There for You, In These Arms, I Want You, This Ain't a Love Song, I'd Die for You, Without Love) there are a shit ton of good songs from Bon Jovi. He's still making records & making women hot & bothered. He also gives back thru his charity called the Soul Foundation. Has 2 restaurants that feed the homeless & have a "pay it forward" model of no prices, you give what you can afford or do service for your meal. Has built over 1,000 homes after hurricanes Katrina & Sandy. Built an entire block of apartments, social services & medical care in Philly. He's definitely worth finding out more about & his music is amazing. Also married to the same woman for 32 years, his high school sweetheart. They have 1 daughter & 3 sons together.

Nothing to add here.....except speaking of Living on a Prayer. What prayer did Jon say that, to this day, gave him the best hair in rock? (except maybe the younger Roger Taylor) And yup. Still making me hot and bothered :) Oh I do have one thing to add. The "Young Gun" movies. Jon did the soundtrack. Some of those songs are pretty great also.

When I was younger I was lucky enough to see Bon Jovi in concert several times. I didn’t appreciate the fact that his vocals were not just amazing but he moved and danced all over the stage for hours. The energy at a Bon Jovi concert was amazing. Watching their videos are fun because it takes you into the concert even if you didn’t get to be there.

Goodness ☺️ First, GREAT review!!! 💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Now, for some personal nostalgia ... the first time I ever saw Bon Jovi in concert, they opened for Ratt (back in 1985) I went to see Ratt and left with dreams of marrying Jon Bon Jovi one day!!! 😂😂😂 His “real” name is John Bongiovi ... they decided to call the band “Bon Jovi” because ... well ... that’s a story for someone else to tell ... I’m a little caught up in that “love at first sight” image right now 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️😂😂😂 Those were some magical times 💯💯💯💯 It’s really a shame that everything and everyone has changed so much ... I mean, it was just a good time to be in back then ... we really did have soooo much that I just don’t feel kids of generations after got to experience 🤷‍♀️ ... I could list every song that I think you should check out by them, but I’ve already read a few comments that seemed to cover that. So I’m just gonna sit back and enjoy whatever you decide to check out ... but don’t deprive yourself of other bands as well, like Ratt, Cinderella, Def Leppard, Krokus, Y & T ... just to name a few .... Trust me, everything was bigger in the 80s! Especially hair. Music was bigger, synthesizers were bigger, hair was bigger! I graduated high school in 1987. I love bon Jovi. I can look back at them and not be ashamed that I know every word to every song. Great reaction biz! Can't see what else you're going to react to from the '80s. I'll have to think of something good. If you haven't heard Taylor Dayne Tell It To My heart, that's a good 80s song. I was listening to it earlier so.. have a good one!

Nice reaction. I totally agree that the 80s music seemed so big (just like the hair). For the most part it seems you've been hitting on the really popular mainstream artists of the day, which is great. Bon Jovi are super talented and deserve to be reacted to. I would also check out Blaze of Glory and Wanted Dead or Alive. The 80s had so much more going on that mainstream rock/pop. It was a very experimental time in music and New Wave was huge. I hope you hit some of that before you leave the 80s!

Bon Jovi and Cinderella was my FIRST concert. my sister was in love with him with life sized posters and all. his real name is John Bongiovi. he has a very extensive album repository to explore. i recommend listening to his "Young Guns" sound track. he has MANY amazing songs.

Is the catalogue worth diving into? OMG YES! You need to listen to a few songs from each decade - they have evolved over time. I have been a fan since the beginning, and every album has a couple (at least) of new favourites. Can't wait until they visit the UK again. Saw them last at Wembley in 2019.

you gotta ease someone into Steel Panther. Going Glory Hole first shot is too much. Start slower, let them get a feel for the humor, then hit them with GH. A little Burden of being wonderful or if you really really loved me, then maybe some Community Property or Party like it's the end of the world. Then you string them into All I wanna do (is fuck myself), Girl from Oklahoma & THEN hit em with Glory Hole. Btw, in concert they are AMAZING. saw them a couple of weeks ago in Atlanta.
