I didn't know that the music & musicians from my time would outshine artists that are half or 3 times their age. A few years ago, my daughter who was 27 at that time, carried her daughter with her to see KISS. I brought my kids up loving music, all types. Now, my daughter has been to numerous concerts. BUT,, this one, which she went to bc her daughter LOVES KISS, this concert blew her mind. These guys in their later 60's, 70's started flying around and threw to the roof. She called me on their way home more excited than her daughter. She said that they outdone every band she had every seen

I remember back in the day these guys got a lot of crap for being too commercial and Motley Crue's bassist Nikki Sixx used to talk trash about them all the time on interviews. Many years later I read Nikki Sixx's autobiography and he says that he was actually pretty good friends with Jon Bon Jovi and he used to talk trash about him on purpose just to annoy him. He said whenever an interview was published or broadcast where he said stuff like "Motley Crue is the real deal, not like one of those crappy bands pretending to be dangerous or rebellious but making music for teenage girls like Bon Jovi" he'd get a call from Jon Bon Jovi all pissed off telling him to stop crapping on his band and they'd laugh about it and go out for dinner or something. Dude trolled us so hard for years, we really thought he hated Jon Bon Jovi.
