Wow thats amazing..........Jons voice was pretty shot at this stage cos of the touring and yet he still gave it all............ that mustve hurt!!! this was back in 1989. This was the end of their 2 year long continuous grueling tour. Jon's voice was trashed by doing this every night for two years straight. This was when they went on the hiatus for a few years for Jon to gain his voice back. If you notice the song is actually a half-step lower than the original key on New Jersey. This was to help Jon's voice during the last leg of the tour. He still did a great job on the song, in spite of all working against him.

Bon Jovi wrote their own songs, played their own instruments, sang their own lyrics with their own voices, and by the way sold somewhere around 120 million albums, last I saw kanye was around 23 million. kanye can't play a friggin instrument to save his life. he samples everyone elses' hits to make "his" music. pure garbage like all hip hop/rap. TALENTLESS! He, like all hip hop/rap acts couldn't carry a tune in a bucket, they would be lost playing an instrument at a virtuoso level, couldn't get from low e to high e on a keyboard, guitar, or bass without getting lost, and damn sure couldn't stay in pitch vocally without the help of auto-tune or other vocal pitch correction software. By the way, bon jovi and richie sambora stayed in pitch singing, while playing their instruments AND moving around stage. What you see here is vocals after about 18 months of CONSTANT touring. Jon's voice was trashed at the end of this tour schedule, and he still sang better than kant'ye ever could sing. THOSE, are facts dude. I don't care what you would RATHER listen to. THE FACT is that kanye can't play an instrument to save his life and would be lost without sampling.
