Almost two decades ago, this album (at first especially Wild Is The Wind and Born To Be My Baby) shot through my heart :)
And I believe it's a quite similar story for many fans out there, many may have even lived through that era!
An old live compilation is on this channel which was made in 2010 (can be found under "The Jersey Syndicate").
But I decided to sit down and make a new one. Over a month of work went into picking and then individually remastering all the material.
It was important to me to have authentic performances, so I didn't want to use an audio recording from one show and then "fake" a live video to it.
That can be done if no video exists, but I prefer to do it that way. Of course that had me running into quality limitations and, of course, it varies from song to song. A different performance was used for each track.
I changed the tracklist to make it feel a bit like a concert and also included Diamond Ring and Cadillac Man since one was written for the album and the other one was written during the tour.
Setlist:
01. Lay Your Hands On Me [0:00]
02. Homebound Train [6:15]
03. 99 In The Shade [13:49]
04. Living In Sin [18:52]
05. Born To Be My Baby [29:15]
06. Wild Is The Wind [34:45]
07. Ride Cowboy Ride [39:58]
08. Stick To Your Guns [42:11]
09. Diamond Ring [47:01]
10. I'll Be There For You [51:12]
11. Blood On Blood [59:44]
Encore:
12. Love For Sale [1:09:51]
13. Cadillac Man [1:15:17]
14. Bad Medicine [1:22:04]
15. Outro (Fighter For Love) [1:31:00]

It's steadily growing and includes a lot of background info and trivia on the albums as well as a lot of setlists (older tours are still under construction, but constantly added).

I really don't know why he's not the one of the all time great, maybe it's cause the style is too general so they not compare him with guitarist with charismatic like slash, SRV, blackmore, maybe...

Awww, Dominik! Thank you for bringing back memories of a lifetime... honestly, that Blood on Blood version from Milton Keynes almost made my heart stop, as much as it did back then on that hot August night in 1989. I was there, 17 years old and madly in love with BJ. I remember that I almost fainted when Richie went over to Jons mic stand and began to sing, because it touched something so deep inside of me, it's hard to explain, rather it’s something that is etched in my heart forever! To be able to relive these moments so vividly after all those years is something I am very grateful for. Wish I could turn back time.... Brilliant Job, Genius ;-)

So wonderfully done, also with the quotes/ intro outro. And including Diamond Ring and Cadillac Man was so very welcome. You ve really upped the game by making us relive these intense Bon Jovi performances, back to back. Don't really know what to say except: THANK YOU!

Really goes to show just how they stood on samboras shoulders especially Jon if he hadn’t have had richies voice behind his he wouldn’t have got through these shows not to mention his extraordinary guitar playing that was stifled by the band’s namesake in later years.

Some comment below to RS's lack of recognition. I think we can partly attribute RS's obscurity to JBJ's dictatorial approach in the band. One can see here and there how JBJ increasingly controlled every aspect of it, not only in terms of management, but also in musical decision-making and live performances. JBJ has always patronized all of them and they became subordinate to his every whim. The last straw I think was JBJ's unilateral decision to go out on tour in 2013, when Richie had just come out with Aftermath of the lowdown the year before. Richie was fed up with playing Robin to this Batman pretty diva who has neglected his voice and treated his fellow band members like office boys since their come back with Keep the Faith.

Oh great, another Sambora widow... Well he's been free for 10 years now, tell me where is he selling out stadiums and topping charts now? Last time I checked he had to put up a custom to go to a tv show and he has to create BJ reunion rumors in his interviews to gain some interest from the media...
@DeOmnibusDubitandum76

@@fedebjalways I am nobody's widow. Just stating facts. RS is an addict, but he always had more talent in his little finger than JBJ will ever have. JBJ had the looks, the focus, and the connections. Fronting everything and eclipsing everyone, he got the accolades and the spotlight. Now, he is just a mute CEO wannabe, so there is that. He never had the decency to set the "boys" free of their contractual subordination to him. Sad authoritarian and control freak he always was and that, I think (only partly), may be to blame for RS's spiral.

It’s Jon’s band. He is owner/manager. He can choose to do what he needs to do. I don’t have a problem with Richie leaving but the way he did it. Just left all of them high and dry. He could have waited for Jon to get another person in the band. I don’t dislike Richie but look where he is now compared to JBJ Band. Richie is worth some where between $100-$150 mil. JBJS is about 410 mil

Richie is one heck of a talented voice and guitarist/performer. I went through similar issue as I fronted a few bands, not as big. But a lot of band members hate the frontman from day 1. It’s jealousy, the singer creates the atmosphere period. Richie needs to grow up and apologize to the whole band leaving them and the fans high and dry in 2013. No excuse Richie! Such a shame he is a top tiered musician.

How can you say Jon just had looks and connections. I think he and Joe Elliott of Def Leppard are two of the best singers ever out of the 80s

From what I heard Hugh was always better bass player than Alec but didn't have the "image" that suited Bon Jovi. Also I might be wrong but in the first 5 albums it was Hugh and not Alec who performed the bass on their studio albums. Last thing Rest in peace Mr Such
