Yes Bon Jovi was one of the first bands to do wire work. They were one of the first bands to play arena rock. They were one of the first bands to fill professional sports arenas, hence the name arena rock. which are larger than concert halls/stadiums.

How could anybody not like rock?! Glad you've finally joined the good side of the force. 🙂Jon Bon Jovi is from New Jersey and wrote songs about working class people that resonated with a lot of people. Bon Jovi was one of the top bands of the 80s with a string of hits, and continued to be popular into the 90s and early 2000s. They still put out albums and go out on tour. "Wanted Dead or Alive" and "You Give Love a Bad Name" are a couple of more good Bon Jovi songs worth checking out.

Bon Jovi played Russia for the first time in 1989 headlining the Moscow Peace Festival in a stadium at the peak of their 80's career... The band insisted on headlining that concert because they felt they were the most commercially successful band on the bill... alongside 80's bands (and artists) like Motley Crue... Ozzy Osbourne ... Scorpions... Cinderella ... Skid Row... I believe u can watch performances from that historic concert on YT.

Bon Jovi has so many great songs. They are probably the biggest rock band to come out of the 80's. They have so many hits such as You Give Love A Bad Name, Never Say Goodbye, In and Out of Love, Only Lonely, Silent Night, Runaway, Lay Your Hands on Me, I'll be there for you, Bad Medicine, Bed of Roses, Always, Thank you for loving me, Born to be my Baby, Living in sin, Miracle, Blaze of Glory, and so many more Any of their songs is worth checking out.

You’re right, Irina. A lot of today’s popular “musicians” are not really great at their craft. Many sample/take previous music and use it in their own stuff, many times not even modifying it. And auto tune…. It’s like this; Thomas Edison wasn’t the greatest scientist/inventor. He was great at hiring great scientists to do the work for him and then taking the credit. The true great scientist was his rival, Nikolai Tesla.

Written by Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and Desmond Child. Produced by the late Bruce Fairbairn. Engineered by Bob Rock. Recorded in Little Mountain Sound Studios 🎙 in Vancouver, Canada 🇨🇦. That was a major studio for many rock musicians in the 1980s. I happened to have been in Vancouver when the entire album was recorded. But, I never met any of these men. 😖 1980s classic 👌 Suggested videos 📹: 1 Jon Bon Jovi performs It's My Life. 2 Aerosmith performs Dude Looks like a Lady 3 The Cult performs Fire Woman.

My reply to another comment : I've been into music as musician and sound engineer. Autotune got released in the late 90s. Before that, pitch correction was limited and mostly to correct a few mistakes in a great take. In the 40s people altered tape speed. In the 70s, the Eventide H910 allowed precise basic digital pitch shifting. The H3000 from the late 80s improved this and offered many other great sounding effects. This one has been used on countless albums and many studios still use it to this day.

Everyone did their part on this song. Jon Bon Jovi on vocals, Richie Sambora on guitar, talkbox and vocals, David Bryan on keys, Tico Torres on the drums, and... okay there has been some debate as to if it was Alec John Such or Hugh McDonald on the bass in this song -- Alec _did_ quit the band seven years later because he had trouble _learning_ some parts for the Keep the Faith tour, and that's the album before Alec left that Hugh is credited on for at least one song according to Wikipedia and their sources. Only saying all this because the bassline IS the song.

It takes certain songs to help you understand. Also, music from other countries are often virtually unknown. It's amazing that some songs from various countries find their way around the world. Every genre has that problem. Nobody has the ability to hear everything. The Internet and to a degree KZbin reactions from people from around the world expose us all to new ideas and new concepts and genres. No longer are we just hearing mostly songs from our own countries, but now we hear music from around the world. The songs that pushed through in the 80s had to be catchy if they were in another language (Like "Amadeus" and "99 Luftballons"), but as later decades came along we became exposed to catchy songs like "Dragostea Din Tei", "The Macarena", "Despacito", "Headbanger" (from Baby Metal), and any song from Finnish metal group Nightwish. Moreover, their are thousands more out there. At the same time, watching a reactor raised in another country taking a liking to American genres and groups is fun for us. Not because of our various differences, but because we realize how many similarities we share. I'm very glad you liked this. It was very popular at the time, and remains so to this day. Thanks for taking a look!

Jon Bon Jovi Helps Save Woman on Bridge, Say Authorities The musician was filming a music video when he stopped to help a woman hanging off the ledge of a Nashville bridge September 11, 2024 Jon Bon Jovi has been credited with helping save a woman who was hanging off a bridge in Nashville on Tuesday night. According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the musician helped persuade an unidentified woman come off the ledge of the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge, which spans Tennessee’s Cumberland River, and back to safety. “It takes all of us to help keep each other safe,” said Chief of Police John Drake in a statement posted to social media. Video posted by authorities shows Bon Jovi filming a music video on the bridge with a crew and stopping when he sees the woman hanging off the ledge. The artist and another individual approach the woman and are seen speaking to her, then at some point helping her to safety. Bon Jovi is seen embracing the woman before walking off camera together, along with the rest of the crew. In 2006, Jon Bon Jovi formed the JBJ Soul Foundation to provide solutions out of homelessness, poverty, and hunger for families across the United States through programs that provide food, affordable housing, social services, and job training.
