Ich kann mich immer noch an den 21.9.2015 um ca. 7:22 erinnern, als ich in meinem Schulbus auf den großen Parkplatz mit den ganzen anderen Bussen fuhr, dieses Lied im Radio kam und ich gerade für die erste Abfrage in der 6. Klasse in Geschichte bei Herr **** lernte. Dieser Zeitpunkt, zu dem ich gerade 11 Jahre geworden bin, liegt jetzt schon fast 7 Jahre zurück. Wenn ich daran denke, wie viel Zeit bis zu meinem jetztigen Abitur 2022 vergangen ist und dass ich es jetzt geschafft habe, ist das ein sehr tolles Gefühl. Immer wenn ich dieses Lied höre, muss ich an diesen Zeitpunkt denken, als ich am Gymnasium noch ein richtiger Anfänger war und noch überhaupt nicht wusste, was mich in den nächsten 7 Jahren erwarten wird und es noch ein sehr langer Weg ist.

I can still remember September 21, 2015 at about 7:22 am, when I was driving my school bus into the big parking lot with all the other buses, this song came on the radio and I was just about to go to the 6th grade for the first query. class in history Mr ** learned. This point in time when I just turned 11 years lies now almost 7 years ago. When I think of it think how much time has passed until my current Abitur in 2022 and that I've made it now, that's a really great feeling. Whenever I hear this song, I have to think of that time when I was still a real beginner in high school and didn't know at all what would await me in the next 7 years and there was still a very long way to go.

I loved the way Jon Bon Jovi was taking with his solo "Destination Anywhere". Ambitious and sophisticated pop-rock well-equipped for the new century. Not flawless, but with some of the finest songwriting and arrangements Jon ever was able to put together. Nevertheless, I hoped for a reunion of the Band Bon Jovi at this time ... but now, 15 years later, I regret nothing more but that wish ... Jon should have followed his solo projects which gave him freedom to try new things instead of jumping back into a band that just tries to satisfy expectations from labels, long-time fans and radio stations to get as much airplay as possible. That works, from a pure marketing success standpoint, but it kills all creativity. This song is just another one where one BJ song sounds like the other, feel-good happy music with no depth, copy & paste lyrics and no plan to reinvent themselves ... that really saddens me. Makes me think of what could have been ... yea, they will continue to have broad success that way, and thinking about how long they are around, that's still an impressive achievement ... but it's also so much talent wasted for the sake of hitting mainstream taste.
