I didn't get to see the Broadway version, but I saw it at the Eagle Theatre in Hammonton New Jersey( a professional theatre if you don't know) and they killed it. Omg it was awesome and it is true that I think the play is WAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY better than the movie especially when you see it in person. Its like a rock concert, but with a story and its so much fun that the performers interact with the audience and they make you laugh so friggin hard.

Tom Cruise is NOT better; you delirious? Carpinelo plays Jaxx the way it was written (comical/extreme eccentric). Tom Cruise tried to play him "COOL" which makes it look like a sad actor trying too hard. Cruise isn't willing to look foolish but in trying too hard he ends up looking like a tool (who can't sing).

Tom Cruise's Stacee Jaxx was way better. This one sounds like a crying baby. Tom Cruise in the movie sounds like he really felt like a slave of rock n roll.
