It's very rare that a movie has a reunion. The mere fact that they got together demonstrates the impact they had on not only each other but the impact they had on those who love music. That is simply priceless. It's unfortunate that many school districts don't put as much emphasis on their music program as they do with their sports programs. Sports may not be for everyone but everyone loves and relates to music.

They literally took out the art and music program from the curriculum of the elementary school that is right by my house. When I went there we had art and music class, but by the time my younger sister attended 7 years later, art was already absent, and music was barely hanging by a thread. By the time she graduated, there wasn't a music program.

I was a teacher at a local School of Rock location several years ago. I was so glad I was able to teach kids about music during a time in their lives when they are starting to form the foundations that the rest of their lives will be based on.
