@andgtr2008 To come to an end: In the studio, you can record all guitar parts seperatly. So Richie recorded, the riff, the lead guitar and the solo in seperate steps. Then it is all fixed together. You cant do that live, so Bobby is playing the riff because of the needed capo, and Richie is doing lead guitar and the solo.

@Starlight764 Use the capo in the 9th fred. Then you basically play the following chords: C, G, A, F. The only thing you do is doing the melody with your middle finger by just taking that finger away and playing the empty string

@brasilvini09 OF COURSE Richie doesnt play the riff, as you need the capo to play it! So both have their parts, Bobby the riff, Richie rest rest. The question was, if the capo is used by Bon Jovi or not, and IT IS!
