Emi built up his confidence with his form. He was at Arsenal for so long that people really forget how many loans and first team experiences he has. He truly went crazy at Arsenal in his time. I admire his goal keeping because I saw him on the list of players so long that I never did see him play. Tchouameni miss the penalty bcz of the mind game, I totally agree. Still Emi jumps the right way and even if it was on target I think he would have saved it. His reaction time on penalties doesn't get the praise it deserves because of his mind games before the penalty. Many GKs do cheeky things on penalty and still goes the wrong way. Emi consistency on jumping the right way is on a whole other level..He also jumped the right way on Mbappe's penalty on the final both times..Mbappe was in the zone that day otherwise I think he would have saved at least one penalty of Mbappe that day...I think it's one of the underappreciated things about football .
