Thanks for watching our Video on Jeff Davis. Here are a couple of notes about the video. 1. We recommend diving this site when the small beach is exposed. The water was a little high when we filmed for this video. 2. I apologize for my dive booger. I tried blurring it out, but that proved to be more distracting.

Why would you do that with your tank on.

Thanks, as older divers, we've skipped a few of these sites, because they looked a bit challenging, but your video's have given us the confidence to try them the next time we come down to bonaire. Could you show us the type and brand of walking stick you use?

We actually made a video all about the walking sticks. Here’s a link kzbin.info/www/bejne/pl7Hq2dnqtV1ea8 We’re so happy you have found our videos helpful. Thanks for watching!!

Where do you leave your car keys when going to dive?
@KevinandLizGrogan Жыл бұрын
There are several options for your truck key. Liz and I rent older trucks that just have a standard, non-electric fob, key. I take it with me on dives in my velcro swim trunk pocket or weight pocket. Many people choose to hide their keys under a rock close by or somewhere in the vehicle. If you have a key with an electronic fob, this case is a great option for taking it with you on your dives amzn.to/3HtXBJ2. FYI, this is an Amazon affiliate link. We MAY receive a small commission if you follow the link and make a purchase. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for this one. Usually I watch your videos and go "yep that's the way". I bet I've looked at Jeff Davis 20 times and always said "nope, ain't doing that". It's no worse the Tolo (if you know where to go).

You picked a nice day to film. Not usually that calm there.

Yes, it was nice that entire week. The little beach was well exposed earlier that day. Thanks for watching!

Where would you recommend to stay?
@KevinandLizGrogan3 жыл бұрын
There’s a LOT involved in answering that question. What’s most important to you in selecting a place to stay? Do you prefer a resort, hotel, apartment/condo or villa? Do you want to be within walking distance to restaurants? What’s your budget? Will you be shore diving? Wind surfing or kiteboarding? Are you traveling alone? With a family? A group of friends? We’re happy to point you in the right direction if you can answer these questions. There are all sorts of options. We hope to have a video about this subject in the future.

@@KevinandLizGrogan just me and my girlfriend planning on renting a car and shore diving. Was looking into Airbnb

@Ml1180 H Great, Liz and I prefer rental homes too. If you want to be close to K Town and direct ocean access isn’t important, I’d recommend a house on the canal system near the airport. Most of these have pools and clothes washers (important for us). If being close to town isn’t important, look into homes in the Belnem area; Sabal Palm and La Palma are two neighborhoods offering nice homes with pools at a decent price. Belnem also has numerous oceanfront rental villas and condos. AirBnB is great and we used them for our most recent trip; however, you can also sometimes find the same home listed with a local agency for less. We’re saving $200 on our next rental by booking through the local agent. I am NOT recommending trying to contact an owner outside of AirBnB, rather searching for and finding the SAME home available through other avenues. Local agents we’ve used are Bonaire Comfort Rentals, Bonaire Ocean View Rentals and Sun Rentals Bonaire. One other thing, please read the listings carefully. Many rental rates include a daily $ allowance for electricity, with additional payment required for any overages. This usually isn’t a problem for two people only using one bedroom of a house, but I’ve run into overages every time all bedrooms (and AC units) were being used. Just an FYI.
