Bonanza Bros. arcade 2 player 60fps

Best viewed in 60 fps (only available on HTML5 player). I'm player 1 (bottom screen) and Mark is player 2 (top screen). The voice samples are emulated in this video unlike my last video of this game.

There are no true sequels to Bonanza Bros, but there is a spin-off called Puzzle and Action: Tant-R you can get a rerelease of on the Switch - the only similarities it shares are a similar artstyle and the same universe, but it's better than nothing!

The style is called Ray Traced, Sega oved the style for a while, you can also see it in the first Sonic, But it's heavily inspired by the early Pixar animations.

Easily the best version of this game. Why were the Bonus Stages removed? They fit the game perfectly. Was there not enough room on the Mega Drive/Genesis cartridge?

Yes, the Arcade version looks considerably better than the Mega Drive version. Maybe it was a rushed console port? However, in my opinion the music is better in Mega Drive.

I think there was a sequel in Japan. It never made it to the US. I was actually in Japan when this game was new, so I don't even know that the original one made it to the US either. But it sure as hell was cool...

I finally was able to play this online. Unfortunately, as it turns out, the final boss has a problem on MAME++ 0.134, which is the newest Kaillera version I could actually use for netplay. I'll need to finish the final boss on a newer version of MAME that can only be played offline. I should be able to have it done within a few weeks.

Did this game use a bios? I didn't remember that it did. Either way, if the game isn't starting up in MAME, it should tell you what files are missing, and you should be able to find them if you google one of the missing file names.

Supposedly the System 24 boards were slightly upgraded versions of the System 16s, which were the hardware basis for the Genesis/MD. They wouldn't have to dumb things down too much.

I don't really understand your question. Are you referring to controls in MAME? By default, 5 is the key for credits, and 1 is start.
