I never get tired of Bonanza! I know the lines before they are spoken I’ve watched so much. When I was a kid I watched and now in my 50’s I will watch a episode every night. With todays technology and the evolution of film. They could never re create Bonanza. The different personalities of the son’s and the leadership of Ben. I don’t watch todays tv shows. I’ll just keep watching the classics we grew up with.

This was a really good storyline, and after Ben spoke with Sam, I was wondering he would sway his mind to do the right thing, and sure enough, he did, I am surprised and pleased with this ending as well. The older gal there wanted attention, she didn't get it, and the bounty hunter gave up his opportunity to get even with his so called 20 years of embarrassment, as well that ends well, with the Bonanza family, and friends.

A good story until he said that the lake hasn't changed in 20 years. :D I thought that it was going to be a ruse and there would be nothing there, that he must not be able to remember it, to convince the kid and others that he really didn't know and then go back later when the others had all given up. 37:50 Now that's just plain silly! Why would he carry the gold in plain sight of the road to the Ponderosa? It was a good story up to this point. Going back to the "scene of the crime." Why?! Needed a more plausible way for them to meet. But I can't think of one right now. Like, if they split up the gold and tried to hide the gold in the saddles and canteens but were accosted when saying goodbye. Perhaps the two of them were saying goodbye when the vultures show up to accost them. Ben says "let me fill your canteens" and before Logan can stop him, he feels how heavy they are... Or, Logan draws his gun and tells Ben not to touch his canteens. The vulture draws his gun as Logan an the boy run into the barn for cover. Logan keeps watch as he tells the boy to saddle up 2 more horses so that they can ride out the back door before anyone else arrives and surrounds them, but then Ben walks in as he did and the rest the same. Well, except for the Vulture giving up his reward. Ben could ask him if he's going to carry that all the way to his old boss and the vulture can admit. "He was an old man. He's probably retired years ago or been long dead." But giving up the $10,000 reward. That's not plausible. How would you have arranged or written the ending?
@brianwest2775 Жыл бұрын
A missing shovel could have been a good clue that they were going out to dig up the gold, and so Ben goes after them and the vultures see Ben and follow. Better than seeing them from the road at the same tree/cave! That was so silly.

Private companies decide to remove or discontinue products or shows and then its blamed on a political side. You should take it up with the private companies. Its called political spin. Blame your opponent to create a controversy where non exists to divert attention away from what is really going on. No body in the world had a problem with Potato heads, for example, but it lagged sales. So it you created one toy instead of two and marketed for boys and girls then it saves on production. Blame Hasbro. This had nothing to do with "lefties" it is the media and corporations..
