Another adventures of Ben Cartwright and his sons (Pernell Roberts, Dan Blocker, Michael Landon and Mitch Vogel) as they run and defend their ranch while helping the surrounding community.

Another great one - Jamie continues to grow as a person. Young Mitch Vogel does a great job!

Funny how the bad, good guys are looked up as a hero of sorts and puts a beautiful and well-rounded impression on a youth that he cares for. The great storyline, only on the Bonanza.

My grandfather loved Bonanza! I was too young to appreciate what he enjoyed about these programs. I was born in 1962. I was not allowed to watch much television anyway. I had an early bedtime. NOW, I am 58 going on 59--and I am watching these programs for the first time. I have finally discovered why my grandfather enjoyed this show! He was a very moral, ethical person, followed the 10 Commandments--and a Bible believing Christian. He belonged to a strict church that believed radio and tv were devil boxes! My grandfather believed that it should be up to the individual to decide what they listen to or watch. He believed as the Bible presents it: Freedom of choice. While there is some gunplay in this program, some fights, there is no sex scenes, no foul language, and the stories always demonstrate moral and ethical ideals. On occasion tell Biblical based ideas too. I have watched almost every program--with the exception of the ones that have very, very bad sound. (Could not watch many programs in Season 7 and 9 for that reason--my headphone jack is busted and cannot use blue tooth) I am doing best I can to see as many of these gems as I can. Wonderful programs. I agree, Hollywood does not make these kinds of shows anymore. However, I think if Hollywood did, would the audiences of today watch it?? I believe the World has changed so much, that judging by the numbers of people who are currently watching these episodes now, no one would watch a good, clean ethical, and moral show like this one today. The people of today want sex, smut and sexual innuendo and dirty language. It is for this reason that I got rid of my television in 2003! I no longer own a TV. It was not until 2012, when my SDA church gave me the gift of a laptop/notebook that I discovered that I could find these old programs on KZbin, and see the TV I WANTED TO SEE. Thanks for posting these programs!!! I am grateful to have something to watch again!!! sign me grateful YOU TUBE watcher in Oregon!

My family and I watched Bonanza when I was a child in the seventies. I don’t remember the episodes much from then, but I watch them all the time now. I enjoy the older shows for the same reasons mentioned. They are also very entertaining and remind me of a time when my family members were all alive and together.

I was born in 1960 and grew up watching Bonanza from a young age. Started watching it again recently and actually remember some of the episodes. What's interesting to me now is so many of the guest stars back then went on to become well known actors but back then they were relatively unknown. Now I see an episode and see some of those young actors and think who is that? I know I know that face but often have to look it up lol!!!

Roberts left because he thought he was too good for the show. It was all about Pernell Roberts and he let his fans down and lost his gamble to be a start. I would rather watch a Mitch Vogel episode than an Adam episode where you could see his arrogance in every scene.

Wish I could have lived at that ranch house. Used tonreally want to. And have hop sing' s cooking. And help with ranch work. I did some fencing and such when a young adult. Liked the farm animals. Learned a lot. Milked goats, made cheese. The only thing bi have trouble with is the violence in old westerns. The actors are in so many fights they should have died after the first couple ones. And the evil characters. I prefer the lighter episodes

I used to think Jamie's character was annoying when I was a child and watched this show. Maybe I had some resistance to a new character after getting used to a certain formula. But after watching the reruns on KZbin for a year or so, he grew on me, too..

Wouldn't mind life being simpler again. Have thought that so many times. Modern medicine and dentistry is great. Otherwise, I would have fit better into our country about this time period. Could have been a school teacher. In today's world I can't be anything. Back then many people could live on so little because most people did and prices were tiny . Nowadays most people can't keep a roof over their heads. Probably because the world has so many more people. No safe affordable housing anymore

It could hurt the horse and a injured horse out there often means the rider is dead.
@ceceliaclarke9147
@ceceliaclarke9147 2 жыл бұрын
@@grizzlycountry1030 appreciate your comment. However...snake bite is not poisonous for a horse. This is why anti-snake venom is produced by injecting horses with snake venom. They develop the antibodies, without any harm from the venom. Snake venom antidote for humans is made by withdrawing small amounts of blood from these horses. So the question that comes up...why are horses so afraid of snakes? Horses don't die from snake bite...I don't know if anyone knows why they freak out over snakes. The problem for the rider, with a snake coming around, is that a horse will rear up and get completely out of control. The usual "cowboy" reaction is to kill the snake, then get away as quickly as possible.

No sé cómo ni por qué funciona, pero así es como veo estas cosas y tengo sonido.

I cant put my finger on it but Vogel does not suit that show and his acting is horrible they sld have kept Guy Williams on now he had talent and Charissma. I know one of the things that iritated me about Vogel is that they always insisted that he looked younger than he was that bloddy hat for a six year old on his big head with the MOUNTAIN OF hair sticking out LOL
