I truly wish I could get one of those guns. 12 shots from a 6 shooter. Amazing western technology.

The anti-gun theme tells the story, no guns-no crime, except by those that are the supposed guardians. Those that beat their swords into plow-shears, will plow for those that don't !!!!!!

This was very intense, succored me into his reconnection with his son, and the other facial expressions.

*SOUND PROBLEM REMEDY* *I figured out a while back that when they upload videos with messed up sound, little sound or no sound like alot of the ones this person uploaded that if you use headphones or a separate speaker such as plugin speaker or bluetooth speaker that you'll be able to hear every thing normally. I don't know how or why it works, but that's actually how I watch these things and have sound.*

It's funny that Leslie Nielsen used to be a serious actor, so he was cast in comedic roles to add comedic irony while using deadpan delivery, but now people think of him as a comedian.

Again, I can't understand how Pernell Roberts thought that the script's were not good, with episodes like this

This was a poor reenactment of the shootings at the Texas School Book Depository Tower (as presented in the movie "Deadly Tower". There was no writing involved in the creation of this episode of Bonanza. In modern terms it was just cut and paste. And that's why Roberts felt as he did about the scripts. He was progressive. Wanted to add current affairs (as they were back then) into the themes of the show. Not a fan of labels but Roberts was a bit of a hippie beatnik. That's what drove his creativity. Might also call him a visionary. He saw the end of Bonanza if they stayed as is. The TV western genre was on it's way out and he had hopes of modernizing the stories to keep them culturally appealing. I enjoyed Bonanza as it was but also recognized that a new day was upon us.

Because he is a cop he is above the their law. He gets special treatment. Not even the flames of a burning building can condemn him. He gets to go the the special hospital and others to one that even Ben says a man would be better off taking a bullet to the head than to be in. These shows, some as good as they are are designed to make us think a certain way. I say let cops and their politicians be subject to their own laws. STRING’m UP. What can a person do thats worst than this.

I don't like the way this little boy was used in this episode. He was way too young to understand. And silly plot.
