I know right. He is a good man but sometimes he does that seems to call the shots over the sheriff. Thinks he's above the law. But in this case, he really surprised me. Just a show but it played a lot of memories for someone my age. Good morals. Again intervenes with a military lieutenant.

Suddenly, I'm wondering where all the cattle they used on the show came from, and what they did with them when they weren't needed for a scene. Were they the same cattle used throughout the show? Or were they eaten by the cast and crew, and new ones brought in? 🤔

In all likelihood they were rented from a local (to the location) ranch and eaten long before the series ended. Most of the beef you see in American supermarkets are from cattle under 2 years old. Milk cows are also used for meat when they are around 7 years old. As beef gets older it usually gets tougher so the quality goes down.

Gloria Talbot died of kidney failure in 2000, her sister's name was Lori Talbot and she died in 2006 or is still alive(depending on what source the info comes from)
