New York, NY - Body camera footage shows a New York City police officer brutally assaulting a homeless man for taking up more than one seat on a near-empty subway train. Instead of immediately arresting the officers involved in his attack, Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance has decided to charge the homeless victim with assault, a felony charge which carries a maximum prison sentence of 7 years. Because the cop had swollen knuckles. BTW- if this was assault on someone who wasn't a cop, the maximum sentence would be 6 months. So why 7 years for a cop, where is the equality? When police confronted him a second time he said that he did not understand why they were bothering him and told them that they could not arrest him for refusing to leave a train. Officer Adonis Long put his hands on Joseph in an attempt to remove him from the train, but Joseph pulled away. As soon as Joseph pulled away, Long punched him in the face repeatedly and then kicked his belongings off the train. This was likely when the officer hurt his knuckles. Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance’s decision to pursue assault charges against Joseph has sparked outrage among activists and defense attorneys. Public defender Scott Hechinger said that prosecutors who pursue charges like this are “shameless enablers of police violence.” We agree. Joseph had broken no law. He had harmed no one, yet he was savagely attacked by police, who kidnapped and subsequently charged him.

Another Cartwright love that does not go well. I can not believe Adam just gives up on Ruth and does not go after her. Oh well I guess that was what saved her life being all the other Cartwright loves end up dead. Such handsome men those Cartwright men Hoss the only one that is not a looker yet I think he was my favorite. Miss them all .wished there were shows like this now.

Ah Hoss was cute too bless him. in the second or third episode he was looking after a very sick woman and that was such a lovely episode. Dad Blocker was a great actor

Charlotte Dashwood Yes Hoss was great he would be the one you would pick as a loyal friend. I read that he was the favorite of the cast and crew easy to work with and easy going . He was also the most educated of the Cartwrights having a Masters degree and working on doctorate .

I think I read somewhere that he thought high school before joining the Ponderosa ranch. I'd have to check but I'm pretty sure he did. Hoss isn't as obviously good looking as the others but he's so sweet in the courting episodes bless him. When someone breaks his heart you just want to cuddle him

Dan Blocker didn't have looks; he had brains. Excellent student who was working toward a Ph.D. when he was bit by the acting bug. We lost him far too early in life. It was sad as a native Texan hearing of my favorite actor from Texas.
