Bob understands that the music he makes is much more than technical skill. He truly imparts a little bit of his soul into everything he plays. Thank you very much, and know that it is greatly appreciated.

I listen to your playing and videos over and over and try to decipher what it is that makes your guitar work so interesting & satisfying. It is clean with great tone, and it is always melody focused with tasteful embellishment, but it has a specific "Je ne sais quoi" that I can't quite pin down. I am leaning toward it simply being your love of the music that exudes in your playing. I believe you could play the single note sheet music for "Shoo Fly" out of Mel Bay's "Learn To Play The Guitar", volume 1, and it would sound incredible. Great playing as usual, & I appreciate & enjoy your videos. 👍

Sounds a lot like Norman, which is the highest compliment I can give any guitar player. But I am a fiddler primarily and trust me, this is usually played in D on that instrument. But I met the master a couple of times, and he told me on one of those occasions that in playing a fiddle tune of the guitar, you sometimes have to change the key. But I've always wondered if somebody has ever tried to prove Norman wrong and has worked out a decent arrangement of this tune in D on the guitar.
