Absolutely correct. Most cultures have fermented foods of some sort. I think Brad could do world tour, visiting each and every country there (well I wouldn't send him Syria or Libya and couple of other countries for obvious reaons) and explore their traditional fermented foods. I'd love to see that, but I acknowledge it's probably too expensive and time consuming to ever become a reality.

My grandmother made her own Sauerkraut, pickles, salsa, hot sauce, kimchi, jam, jelly , grape juice, preserves, picked peaches, marinated vegetables, ice cream , butter, buttermilk, clabber milk, sour cream, cottage cheese, ricotta, cream cheese, canned all the fruit and vegetables in her garden.
