She is beautiful. I sincerely hope she gets better fast. Thank you for nursing her back to health. It's so good that she is in caring hands. Love the name BonBon. 😻

I never knew of this until my 2 year old was walking in circles for days. Took her to the vet, got her diagnosed and medicated and now she is a happy, albeit much more needy, little kitty. She’s now 6. A cat without balance tho. It was an eye opening experience for me.

My siamese cat had this, unfortunately the vet I visited is so bad they didn't even know the disease and told me it's okay. Thanks for spreading awareness.

I took my cat to the vet for the head shaking, then the emergency vet for twice over dizziness and trouble defecating. $1600 and they didn't once consider this when I mentioned treating an ear infection 🤦‍♂️

It’s amazing to me because my son suffers from vestibular damage in both ears! BON BON seems like she knows she’s where she is supposed to be 🫶🌹♥️

I had a cat who got Vestibular from mosquito bite infection (according to vet). It was terrifying for me, let alone for him. Vet visit, meds, hoilding him up for a week so he could poop, feeding him like this, using an eye dropper to give him water, then he gradually got better. He never recovered totally, lived a great life, loved car rides, going for walks, he was the best cat I ever had, I miss him horribly.

My cat currently has peripheral vestibular disease and it has been so scary for me! I had trouble sleeping last night because I was so worried about him falling. This video is really helpful and provided me with good information on how I can keep my little boy fed

Thank you! You’ve really helped me understand and be a lot calmer about my cat’s diagnosis. I was really really struggling with the way she was acting but watching your video has really made me realise that it’s going to take a lot of time and effort but she should get though it! Honestly thank you so so much!!

Really great to watch how you get Bon Bon to take the medicine. You make putting the food and medicine in her mouth look so easy. I’ve been struggling to give my cat medicine for a UTI recently. (I managed to fit her to get her the syringe medicine, but I think I need to figure out how to get the pills in her mouth better.)❤

Well BonBon was very easy and cooperative probably bc of how dizzy she was. Medicating cats is hard! You could crush the pill and mix it w a tiny bit of water and use the syringe or mix w Churu maybe

I agree! We just found out about a month ago are older cat (17 years old) has a thyroid problem ! Giving him medication has been awful! My husband thought a pill would be to hard to give medication so he picked using a syringe that we use to put inside his ears. Thats not working out to well either! On August 1 2022 we had to put down my furbaby Saffy (she was 23years old) and I still miss her)!

I have to double wrap my Siamese Misty in a towel to keep her martial arts skills at bay while I give her a worming tablet. Then soon as the job's done, she goes ultra-loving again and I'm grateful to be forgiven so fast.

My Siamese just had this. Thank you for more info than I got at the ER. Did Orbax work well? We were given Veraflox. We also use Cerenia and meclizine. How many days did you have to use antibiotics (14 days?) and how was the ear infection diagnosed? The ER seemed to just guess she had it even though they couldn’t visualize on exam or determine infection by blood work or cytology. Your sweet Bon Bon is adorable and I’m happy she’s doing better! ❤️

Did your cat recover? Same situation just started veraflox 4 days ago. How long on antibiotics did it take to see improvement?

A lot of the comments and the video itself mentions "treatment" or medication. My vet proposed absolutely nothing but 4 days of anti-nausea medication... Can someone please tell me (generally, or from experience) what those treatments or meds would be ? I don't even know the underlying cause of the vestibular sydrome (that happened suddenly) since she just told me to "wait to see if anything improves in 2 weeks" (and then what do I do? And what if it's too late to actually do something about it ?). I'm so worried 😢 Thank you all

My little cat is chronic and developed this condition but she will roll and roll. He eyes don't dart but her head is really tilted and she basically can't walk. She goes to the vet tomorrow for more treatment and I hope she can get antibiotics. She has just had enough poor baby.

I am going through something like this with my cat right now it’s terrible one vet said it’s a toxic poison not vestibular disease my cat already has 3 legs we do have her on antibiotics no ear drops though one vet said she would be better in 5 days it’s been 4 and she is eating just like that she cannot walk though . This is the only video I’ve found close to what we are going through and my vets are lost too..

I think I may have caused it in my Spooky, I cleaned her ears and the next day this occurred…Emergency Vet never mentioned this option, just she is Geriatric so we have to look at the kidneys…I’m taking her in to get some fluids and blood work tomorrow…Thank you for this video, my baby’s 15 years old I was terrified
