Bond Strength between Concrete and Reinforcement

This video shows the bond strength between concrete and reinforcement bar. Bond strength is very important for structural members to carry the load and transfer to another structural member. If we don't have good bond strength between concrete and steel bar then we can have less capacity of structure to take the load even, so its very important for the whole structure that we have good bond strength between concrete and steel . There are some factors which affect the bond strength, these are;
1. Strength of concrete
2. Concrete cover
3. Diameter of bar
4. Distance between rebars
5. Type of rebars
