Tia I'm sorry NO, thats not it. Its better if you had the fresh ingredients and blend them out that would make a better seasoning. The eskellion, thyme, pimento berries, scotch bonnet pepper, ginger and onion. That's now how we as Jamaicans🇯🇲 prep the season for any type of Jerk.

Yes, Paige is absolutely right, Italian dressing added to your meat boost the flavor. I use it as well, depending on the dish I’m preparing. I do it mostly, if I’m baking or smothering, using seasoning and Italian dressing.

Love ya Tia. I grew up cooking with both sets of my grandparents and I loved every moment. Now I'm teaching my kids to cook. You have inspired me not to give up. I lost my gpa the day I brought my Olds home from the hospital. Then 4 years later I lost my gma less than a week before my bday. Then about 4 years after that I lost my other gma right before my kids started school. So it's been ruff but your videos have kept me going and so has my kids and my husband.

Yesss, baking chicken with Italian dressing I do that too it's so good especially with white or red potatoes, cut onions, cut up green peppers and red peppers. But it best when adding the Italian dressing on the chicken let it marinate but stick some holes in each chicken. Let it sit in the refrigerator for some hours it taste so, so much better when cooked.

I wish you the best , I’m so sorry about your divorce. I went through divorce as well and it was extremely hard on me but it gets better slowly. Don’t rush yourself , don’t rush dating . You will heal, don’t rush it. You will meet someone who loves you for you and makes you feel great who you are and matches you. Take your time and everything will fall into place . My mom had to have rice for every meal!! We’re convinced she has Asian ancestry. My godmother thought my mom and her sister were Asian before she met them back in the 60’s. She eats scrambled eggs and rice or a boiled egg and rice in a minute. She cooked yellow rice tonight for dinner for her and my dad.

Please note that jerk is a method of cooking. There are particular spices such as pimento, escallion, thyme, scotch bonnet pepper, salt etc that is used in preparing meat to be jerked. However, it is not the spices itself that makes it jerk but the method of cooking. And also little hidden secret if anyone has a smart phone touch screen you have a clock app go to it and there like 4 or 5 settings I don't exactly remember I could be wrong? 1 if those settings is a timer , so just in case you don't have money to buy a timer your phone has a timer tap timer then set the time let's say 10 minutes then press go button or set button it should start then start cooking.
