A great documentary! I've been studying this (as an amateur) for several decades now. It's amazing how far apart people can be on the same quite topic that has so little evidence. I talked with a retiree Indian Chief, in 2018, who grew up on a reservation, was educated/trained toward possibly becoming a leader/chief and he told me that his elders - who lived in the early 20th century told him that Bigfoot had always been seen as just another "tribe of Indians" and that they shared a language to communicate with them. Almost matter of fact. In fact he addressed that by saying that "When people ask (us Indians) if we believe in Bigfoot, that's like asking you (me) if you believe in squirrels, raccoons, bears, etc." It was that normal of a creature as other creates in nature. He said he had never seen one but heard a number of strange vocalizations in the wild, that other indians who had more interactions with BF, said came from Bigfoot. In my long and dwindling life, I've never seen anything like this phenomenon, where a "conspiracy theory" about a "fictional creature" had so many different "conspiracy theories" to try to explain it. And I (as a man) think of this phenomenon as a "male thing" as though a competition for money (there is none) or fame (there appears only to be notoriety). The few women involved (e.g, Kathy Strain) seem to have much less ego on the line. I have spoken to a handful of men who have seen them. I spoke with one man - quite an outdoors man - who did not see one but saw a very large rock thrown OVER tall trees and into a river. He had four other witnesses - they were all Marine soldiers on a training mission in a remote area. He said that rock (a 2nd one after they only heard the first one hit the water) appeared to be "oh, at least 200 to 300 pounds". And it had been thrown over tall trees and then many yards into a river. This Marine veteran relieved it right in front of me as he told that story. I believed him. As an old song line aptly stated: "Let the mystery be."

I agree with the one guy, Homo sapiens are classified as primates, great apes. Sasq'ets, also would be a primate and some sort of cousin to us. Less than 25% of all creatures have been fossilized throughout all history, giving us just a glimpse into the past, not the full picture. I can totally buy into the Behring strait theory, with all the other large mammals that migrated from Asia to the new world. I grew up in central PA and dealt with the local "prowlers" that would tap on farmers windows, taunt them into coming out shooting, tease the kids, and stare into windows at night. I now live on the Olympic peninsula, and the activity makes PA seem mild and sparse. I live west of the biggest town on the O.P. Port Angeles (another PA) sandwiched between quarries, a major salmon river, creeks, and the beach and the mountains are 1 mile north and south respectively. The one power line cutout travels just down the road from us. Every fall, as the deer and elk come down from the piling snows in the elevations, and the salmon are finishing their run, and the berries are over ripe along with some other crops from the scattering of small farms. The quarry 200 feet from my window has a pond in one corner full of leopard frogs that a female (high pitched voice) seems to frequent in November and December on cool (normally mid 40s) rainy night. She responds to a deep voiced moaning male (?) by the river, nearly a quarter mile away. We have one that tossed a few big rocks at us on the trail 1 mile away that likes to do a strangely technical whistle in the middle of bird calls. Our dogs that fear no cougar or bear, whimper, cower, loose bladder control, and once tried to jump free of the leash to go back to the car after a glimpse of a huge black head darting behind a cedar and into a game trail. I keep vigil every night, especially in season, trying to record something on my phone, camera, or recorder. Looking for like minded campers who want to go on a 10 mile, 3 day trail hike/camp here on the peninsula in mid-late September 2025. Mostly following a river trail.

To truly understand Sasquatch and their extraordinary abilities, it's essential to delve into Eastern spirituality and Indigenous wisdom. I believe sasquatch to be equivalent to advanced ascetic adepts, demonstrating remarkable psychic and paranormal capabilities that are characteristic of elevated yogic states. Eastern spiritual traditions emphasize practices such as prayer, meditation, visualization, breathwork, and third-eye focus to cultivate these abilities. Ancient texts describe "clouding" (invisibility) and "shadow walking" (mentioned by some First Nations tribes), while Tibetan "tummo" meditation is specifically linked to cloaking abilities. Telepathy is reportedly achieved through specialized breathwork and third-eye focus. These ancient practices are integral to Sasquatch culture, and their reported psychic abilities suggest a deep connection to these traditions and practices.

That is just something I remember her telling us, I lived in McMinnville Oregon for a few years, and in northern California, I was born in Redding Ca, so I was a west coast native for most of my youth., we moved a lot so. I do not know what these things are and I am more inclined to believe they exist than not, I live in Southern Alabama now and other than what I have seen as far as bigfoot videos/documentaries that is the extent of what I know is what I have seen and heard through media. it is kind of funny, the atheists want to find the "missing link" yet here is a creature that has at least some human features and yet most scientists say it does not exist, and they really do not spend any time with why they do not want to find out yea or nay, its like its a taboo subject, they leave alone as if messing with it could be harmful to their careers. If Patterson film is fake why can’t no one reproduce it. I saw an attempt on some Hollywood series years ago. They had Chewbacca walk across the same area of bluff creek. Then they said “see just a man in a suit like this”. There recreation was so fake and with a top notch Hollywood suit and makeup artists. No there’s no doubt it’s real.
@crabbcake3 ай бұрын
thats the big mystery it has a little more detail than it should & the footprints were photo'd and match the location. Even a large person would not make prints as deep. Plus the area was picked following eyewitness accounts. so he seemed like he set out to fake it but you'd expect lower quality not be able to match what people said they saw as well thats almost impossible.

I have seen an up close still picture of a Sasquatch named, “Nef”. The picture was taken with his permission and he is smiling in it. I have also heard him talk and sing! Yes! They sing! They as a group, are a very spiritual people. Yes! They are 99% modern human by mitochondrial DNA. The nucleic DNA is believed to be a mix of bear and extraterrestrial in origin. This would account for some of their more “out of this world “ talents and abilities. Testing still continues to this day, not just in the US, but in Europe as well. Well over a thousand blood, skin and hair samples have been collected and tested. Our US military has studied them for a number of years. In fact, after the St. Helen’s eruption, our military set up a triage and MESH unit for the injured Sasquatch. Many burned bodies were airlifted out of the area. At one time, they were called the Selahtick Tribe of First Nations People in the US. Our government even gave them land but as with other First Nations People, they broke the deal. Then… the National Park System was set up. Put the puzzle pieces together!!! I know where a clan of 30+ is living right now. In the place I live, they are all over and some families live peacefully beside them. The Sasquatch are family oriented! You do not need a body!!! Our military has live ones in custody for study! They will share… eventually. I have heard one Pentagon scientist speak about them and another Pentagon Researcher speak about the research being done with them… think SuperSoldier possibilities. They can cloak, travel portals as well as have incredible strength and endurance. This documentary is just a first stepping stone compared to what is known now.

I think you have to look outside the box with science. With science you need to accept differences of opinion but don't shut everyone out who believes in something like Bigfoot. There needs more open minded people with money who can explore this area. You have to go out and explore in the woods before you cut someone down for what they experienced! It needs to be taken seriously because people are missing or dead! Who takes responsibility?

I'm not sure why Dahinden is considered one of the horsemen? I don't see what he ever brought to the table as far as research is concerned. To me he was just a cantankerous old man with a 5th grade education. I've watched every single 70's documentary on the subject and had never heard of Dahinden or John Green until I watch Sasquatch Odyssey. To me there are only two, Krantz and Byrne. Maybe Morgan and Titmus but certainly not Dahinden and Green. They brought nothing new to the table.

Disagree, the biomechanics do not match that of humans. Perhaps a robot! I bet somebody is rich enough to build a robot in the distant future, travel back in time to 1967 with a suit made in the future (no suit in1967 could mimic the pendulous breasts and moving muscles!

Why hasn’t anyone ever caught a Bigfoot?
@flashgordon6670 Жыл бұрын
I would definitely have caught one by now, if they exist. It’s so simple, all you need to do is make a trapping zone, put some darts with tranquilliser tips and compressed air canisters, inside trees and or attached to trees, logs, Earth mounds etc. All pointing to various parts of a path or area that’s in the trapping zone. Then you have pressure sensors like mines that are only triggered by something that’s the weight of a Bigfoot, about 250 - 350 lbs minimum. Nothing else can trigger the blow darts, bc bears that are the only other creatures heavy enough, spread their weight on all fours and obviously the area is sign posted so no humans will fall foul, unless you suppose Bigfoot reads that is. There’s also a concealed pit in the middle that has sensors, so when the weight is above the requirement, struts are pulled into slots underneath, so only a Bigfoot can trigger it. The tranquilliser darts surround the pit. When the darts and or pit is triggered, a message is sent to the trap commander and the nearest trap staff members. The trap is also checked periodically, twice a week, or as often as possible to put fresh bait in the trapping zone, near or on the pit. The pit can also have tranquilliser tipped spikes in it, only small so as not to wound the Bigfoot. There can also be hidden wildlife cameras and if possible, a hide that overlooks the area and a hunter’s cabin a few miles away, to oversee the operation and store necessities. A large cage and vehicle access will be needed, once the Bigfoot is captured. What do you think of my plan?
@davidfisher6356 Жыл бұрын
@@flashgordon6670stick to fighting Ming the Merciless bro cos that plan is sketchy af
@flashgordon6670 Жыл бұрын
@@davidfisher6356 Tell me why it’s sketchy af. Have you got a better plan? How can I improve my plan? I know I should put a cage in the pit obviously, so when the Bigfoot falls in, it’s already in the cage. Ming the merciless was defeated in the 1980s, haven’t you seen the documentary? That’s why I joined the defenders of the Earth with Mandrake the magician and the Phantom. Now I’m going to catch a Bigfoot and interrogate it, to find out what they’re up to and get them to help me build a spaceship that I’ve named Millennial Kestrel. Together we’ll explore distant galaxies far away and long ago, and find the source of the dark energy force and destroy its guardian Daft Invader.

How do you catch a demon?
@flashgordon6670 Жыл бұрын
@@josepharcuri8693 Why are you asking that? This is about catching a Bigfoot on a Bigfoot video. Are you trying to catch one? I could come up with a plan but it’ll cost you. It depends exactly what you think a demon is and what kind of demon you want to catch. You also need a plan for what to do with it, if it escapes the trap it could be angry with you and be dangerous. Then there’s laws and regulations to think about, it might be against the law to even attempt it, I’m not a lawyer so I don’t know for sure, so I can’t plan that unless you can cite the relevant legislation. I can’t just go making plans for every Tom, Dick and Harry with a crackpot venture. You should’ve really thought about that before you go asking random strangers on the internet, or you might wind up in trouble.
