Anyway, congrats on the gold ring find. Those aluminium pieces are unfortunately found on a lot of beaches in Europe. I've seen comments about the aluminium ranging from cans that have been melted in camp fires, pieces from boats and even that they're from old planes shot down during WWII. Hard to tell as there are pieces that are entirely aluminium to some that have fused with rocks. Sorry, I couldn't be more specific 😊

Looks like a beautiful place. We have some friends that got married there as it’s the brides home country. Do you ever use the detectors on the beach?
