As we approach the wheel being fully empty, I can’t help but imagine a version of Roulette where you only remove the pack that wins the Bo3 from the wheel-eventually being left with only the worst of the worst competing to avoid getting label THE Worst

If you do it id suggest moving the losing pack to another wheel and when original is empty start again to ensure the packs are spread evenly Could even continue from s1 end with all the losing packs from s1 @@Dzeeff

MBT's pack would've still been good toward the beginning of the series. The Malefic pack is fine (if you include the rule that Doug proposed), and his pulls were fine too but Ghoti/Icejade is just too strong. A lot of strong low rarity cards, and the high rarity stuff is actually unbeatable EDIT: I can't believe Crush Cards edited out the bit where Doug just added in a couple random field spells in between games

As a side series they can do a structure deck roulette where they randomly get a structure deck plus ten from a corresponding pack call it structure deck shuffle or something

I'm surprised you underestimated the fish deck, they were pretty popular when they came out in master duel but then again even if you didn't, there's only so much a malefic deck can do. Still a pretty fun episode!

With the very recent update of master duel updating a lot of decks, I wonder if Doug would be interested in adding some packs back to the wheel to show off the new potential. The crystal beast pack got like 10+ cards added to it we may never see otherwise

As one of the few Malefic players, I'm contractually obligated to comment on this video. Doug did fine with the pulls he had; no Paradigm Dragon is really unfortunate since it's the best one, but I'm assuming it was a UR. Also if he wasn't willing to use it to summon Stardust, it would have been less good. But the pack is missing all of the cards that the deck really needs to function. Skill Drain would have been enough to run a beat down deck with a bunch of guys, but he had no realistic way to get it since it's not in the pack. And my preferred build, the level 10 and 12 Synchro Toolbox version, requires you to have good Synchros to summon which are not in the pack either. Game 1 was also just the true Malefic experience; sometimes even with 7 copies of World (with Terraforming) and 3 Pot of Prosperity to dig further you still just can't find it and you're just dead in the water.

Icejade could be amazing... if it wasn't that only 2 of their Main Deck monsters would be actually good (and both are Aegerine). Give this Deck a Circular monster and it could actually be good.

Space Fish vs Corrupted Time Dragons. Could be a cool Mockbuster title. Kind of sad, that Malefics did go against a deck they had no chance against, always loved those cards, but I like Ghoti too(Mostly because half of my masochist deck is Ghoti)

Fun fact: ghoti is originally supposed to be pronounced the same as fish. The word was made up to show how inconsistent English pronunciation is, using the sounds from touGH, wOmen, and staTIon to form the word.

MBT should have played the Malefic Gear because if you normal summon it, suddenly Dzeeff can't summon ANY of his Malefics. The highlander clause applies to the entire board. (Unless you control Malefic Territory, which is an SR... But Doug had three of them) It's easily cleared with a normal summon, but it's very funny. And sometimes the Malefic deck just doesn't have a normal summon.

I am the Toon archetypes biggest defender and all I can do is express my immense disappointment with MBT. But I also got earthbound immortals this episode so I can be happy with that at least.
