I can totally relate. Sadly I'm a victim of this, I had to take the bold step to leave and live, it was initially so hard, but I survived and I'll survive with my 3kids. I endured 6 years of physical and mental abuse, constantly being hospitalized due to brutality 😢 I'm glad I survived, I'm glad I left.

This was me for the past 5 years of my life I met him during my finals in uni. I served right after, his first move was when I finished my service………..He asked me to move to Ekiti from Abuja or he was going to end the relationship. I moved, two years later, he moved out of Ekiti to Lagos and left me there. I started to see exactly every single thing that happened in this movie. I am asthmatic and I have sinus. He once looked at me during my discomfort and said “If you travel out you will just D!E. That day I cried. He made me feel ugly for 5 years. No kidding, I was almost an influencer when I met him, had some amount of audience online. Everything just slowly died down. He made me stop my business………He cheated on me so many times, I lost count

The craziest part about this is that….. it’s not about being smart because I am a smart woman. You just can’t see what is happening when you’re in there. I am someone like this woman, I would search for my phone 5 times daily and I can be so clumsy. One time, I forgot to close the lid of something. He started opening the lid and using it to verbally abuse me literally everyday until I had to double-triple check to see if I closed it. Then one day I saw him intentionally opening the lid and few minutes later he started insulting me as usual, similar to the way this man speaks in this movie. Guess what? I was still with him for another two years after all these incidents

Just join live classes of how to outsmart ruin and treat a nassist, learn frkm.different scholls of thought by psychologist he will flee from you, fear you. Treat them as if they do not exist and move on. Just know how to handle and trwat an abuser and know that an abuser will never change thill they doe thas the Nassisist.

This is classic narcissism. He just loved bombed her at 1st and that's how he sucked her in. But the 1st red flag was how he tried to immediately change her on first date; ex when she stated that she did not drink alcohol, and just disregarded her statement and poured it anyhow. And the gaslighting, placing her phone in another spot than where she left it, then trying to make her doubt her own reality.

My father is a big narcissist, after 20years of coping she left because it was hell upon hell. Babes I assure leave now for your own sake, they’d never change I assure you.
